Pretty disgusting actually. Most people are simply not aware of the limits to their freedoms. It isn't until they get charged for a joke or an off the cuff comment they make in a state of passion that they actually realise how restricted their speech is. As this does not happen that often, it goes to show the laws are not enforced that well or that they are not very often broken.

Freedom of speech is a difficult thing to balance, but the right point to draw the line is at incitement to violence. We have got this horribly, horribly wrong.
We didn't end up at this point by accident though, for a long time marxists have infiltrated our political and academic institutions. The problem now is that the damage has been done and it's almost impossible to reverse.

It's good that you guys take your first amendment seriously and preserve your right of freedom of speech; but, at the same time I'm not going to sit here and act like you guys are in a better position than us in terms of moral and societal decline.
A lot of the degeneracy we have here was imported from the US. There was an excellent comment in a paper which summarised this beautifully which I have literally spent the last hour looking for, but couldn't find. Raging.
