some kitchen tips i learnt from my chefs:
-eggs:add teaspoon of water when beating eggs in the bowl for omelette..it will help break up the albumin ..and also the steam within will make eggs cook fluffier.

-prevent burning of butter: again..add teaspoon of water in hot pan..knob of butter will completely melt before part of butter starts browning and burning on a pan while other half is still melting.

-Bacon tips:when cookingsmaller portion...lay flat on a COLD pan (u can add teaspoon water here also)...then start on medium flame (do not put on high)....bacon fat will nicely render, they will cook beautiful without curling up or unevenly cooked and burnt. DO NOT FUKIN put cooking oil on the pan..bacon has sh!t tons of fat in it which renders.
big portions: spread foil on a baking sheet (for easy cleanup)...lay them flat...preheated oven at 400 F for 12-15 mins..beautiful uncurled bacon.
Lay them on wire rack before serving..so the excess grease dries up and they are crunchy. (air from below wire rack helps crisp them up unlike paper towel)

-onions ..(this my mom taught me)....chop up the whole onion any style u like...let them sit in cold water for 10 mins..strain them out and put them in the fridge...u have chopped onion for a week anytime u wanna cook up some eggs or sautee some dish etc. (its the acid which makes them pungent & mushy in the fridge..but u rinsed it out now so they wont stink up the fridge)

-Prevent watery gravys or stir fry sauces or soups.....take a bowl...mix equal amounts of softened butter and flour into a clay like dough (beurre manie)....keep it in fridge..take out small bits and throw in the pot whenever needed to thicken up stews or gravys or stir fry dishes.

-Spoons :metal spoons & forks can be left in the cup or bowl in a microwave..they dont cause sparks unlike other metal objects.

-Making carbonara without eggs scrambling:Temper the egg and cheese mixture by adding hot pasta water slowly into the bowl before adding the whole thing in the pan...this will prevent eggs from scrambling due to sudden heat in the pan.

As you can see..water can be used in many ways to improve cooking in the kitchen for recipes that dont call for water.

The GOAT way.

it may take more overall time for the dishes to be done but it takes way less of your own time.

modern dishwashers and pods actually are so good u dont need to rinse out dishes in the sink unless u have dried up cheese or burnt scraps on heavy pans.

dishwashers also save water usage...they use water very efficiently as opposed to manual handwash

You should never put good jeans in a washing machine, it ruins them first wash.

Instead put them in a bag in the freezer, it freezes any bacteria and removes the smell. If you spilt anything on them just spot clean it

no one uses electric kettles in america

reason being they are more useful for tea drinking countries..and america runs on coffee and dunkin donuts

similarly, you wont find those cheap coffee pot machines in other countries

friends were mind blown when i boiled water in saucepan..they microwave it.

america is so geographically separated from rest of the world that everything was invented differently here and knowledge never crossed the oceans.

Americans don't use electric kettles because it takes longer to boil, at least from my observation.

Brb 1 liter of water in UK kettle boils in 45 sec,
Brb 1 liter of water in USA kettle boils in 2mins

she taught me:
-to not hang wet towels on a hook to prevent them from smelly funky, instead hang them on a rack or over the top of a door
-lighting a few candles and then fukking is way better than fukking with the lights on/dimmed

I taught her:
-to floss her teeth facing into the shower so that food particles don't get on the mirror

My electric kettle boils water twice as fast as on the stove. Most Americans don't use electric kettles because they don't even know they exist. I'm just as guilty. I wasn't aware of them till I was 23. None of my friends had even heard of one till I told them about it.

I was thinking it was just me that was unaware. The last time I saw anything similar it was an electric peculator when I was in the service. I've never seen this used to boil water in my life.

It is.

However, the inside of your belly button still gets dirty. Unless you're sticking your finger in there when you're showering - it's a place that doesn't get cleaned often. Like the inside of your ears. You use a Q-tip there, you should also do so with your belly button.
