Are you doing a lot of cardio? I think that too much cardio can cause this problem, or even too low cals. I have heard people say that they raised their cals as they got leaner to burn even more fat. I have had this problem in the past too, but I was going crazy on cardio. I should be ready by summer if I can stick to my diet. Probably 10-15lbs away.

Been ****ting the bed a lot by binge eating on junk like a dummy on and off for a couple months. I've been good for a week now. So hopefully I'll be sub 200 by the end of April (currently 205 now, aiming for 185-190)
Let's get this bread

Good so far been going for a month and only had 1 cheat day which was basically maintainance calories. Overall it hasn't been stressful or draining yet. Dropped about 3 kilos so far. Weight loss stalled the last week because I started training legs again after not doing it for a long time and gained some mass back.

Not sure how long I'll need to cut, would like to get to single digits, probably around 13-14% now. Another 4-6 weeks probably.

I've been eating literally the same foods every day for a month now which honestly is nice on a cut because I don't need to worry about calories. Just counted them once and that's that. Very stress free.

197-200 @ 5'9 in late January... 183-184 now. Abs starting to peek through, probably 13ish% body fat. Plan on going to 170 and seeing how that looks on my frame and re-assessing from there. Not even gonna weigh myself this morning. Didn't binge yesterday but didn't stay on plan either.

I'm increasingly thinking that intermittent caloric restriction (ICR) is the way to go for cutting, i.e. 3 days low cal (1000 cal per day, 1 gram protein per lbm, bit of fat and some fruit), then one day refeed at maintenance or slightly above, then repeat until you reach desired body fat %. Lettuce be reality, spending day after day for weeks at a time in a deficit is just fuking miserable, and you can't even go out and get yucky with the boys at the weekend because you'll blow your weekly deficit, it's just a miserable existence, been listening to lyle mcdonald talk a lot about this recently and he believes it's probably the best way for already lean people to cut.

This.

Only way to cut in my books. There’s no way I’m going to be able to eat perfectly everyday while on a cut.

My style is to eat low in carbs and calories as much as I can early in the week to counter any slips I might have during the weekend. If I eat at or below maintenance on the weekend then it’s bonus.

Started at 180 lbs in Feb. 1. Slow cut and down to 172 lbs before Easter. I unintentionally had an Easter cheat weekend so I'm 174 on scale now lol.

Target is about 160 lbs or less by end of June and hope its enough. Never been less than 170 lbs in about 5 yrs. Been eating just about maintenance the whole time before. My last big cut was in 2011 lol.

I'm cutting at 1800 cals right now (plus workout so net cals must be lower) and pretty sure I have to recompute as I shed more weight.

Started yesterday, my goal is to lose as much as possible for the summer and bloatmax in the winter as I always do (unintentionally but Christmas is GOAT). 10-15 lbs in 2-3 months.

Now: 145 lbs

235 on 3/10
222 today

Very little diet change, previous diet was high protein foods, water, coffee, and craft beer. Current diet is exactly the same-just added hill or beach sprints 3x/week and started doing full body higher tempo workouts 3x/week instead of just powerlifting workouts.

Goal 215 by 5/1 210 by 6/1.

Agree 100%. Eat sufficent protein to preserve muscle mass, add low cal fruit such as blueberries and other highly nutritious fruits and call it a day of eating. Its so much easier to severely restrict yourself for 2 weeks or so, than it is to "cut on 2200 cals" but need 2 months for the cut.

Obviously its not sustainable for people needing to lose massive amounts of fat but there wont be any drastic metabolism or hormonal changes if ran for 2 weeks

I was out of the gym for like a year until 4 weeks ago so I am not rushing to deplete my body any soon.
I am just eating what I feel I need and building whatever muscle and strength I lost and then will maybe cut closer to summer.
