Swam 800m today. It isn't much but if I do it everyday it'll become a habit.

Been running about 7 miles at least 3x a week. This past week I only did it twice and some sprints yesterday, hoping I wake up early enough tomorrow to go running.

Sunday for sure I’ll be back on the ball, gonna try to run at least 5x a week

Another sh*tty run session...4.2 mi in 45 min. I’m usually doing 7mi in 70 min.

This is what I get I suppose for binge eating on the weekend

edit: ended up jogging one more mile and felt good but my nipples started getting friction burns from my shirt I stopped

Haha last night I learned a valuable lesson on wearing a shirt under this weight vest, luckily I had a towel.

Tonight I crashed at 7 and woke up at 11pm. I couldn't start slacking now so I ran at midnight.

Ran 2.625 miles with 20lbs
200m
400m
600m
800m
1000m
1200m

Doing purely LISS now to build an aerobic base. Keeping heart rate 130-148, pace will slowly drop. Did 26 miles last week, the heart rate kept me at 13-16 minutes per mile. Excited to be aerobically fit so I'll be healthier, recover better, perform better in any sport, etc. BRB in a year my HR will hardly go up at all unless I'm almost sprinting

Back at it.

Took it light and hit 4.13 mi in 43 min. Actually felt good and relaxed the whole time so I know I’ll get my usual time/distance back this week. Then I’m gonna beat it next week.

Dang dude awesome job. Did you do any miles after or were you just timing the one? I’ve never tried running a mile as fast as I can. Curious to see how I’d do.

Also where’d you get your vest?

As for me the only cardio I did was tennis in the morning the shooting some basketball by myself. School work got in the way of my running.

Nah just 1 and done today, I like timeing different distances to track my progress. Similar to maxing out at the gym.

Either Dick's or Walmart. It's my brother's I found rotting away in the garage.

I’ve always wanted to get a weighted vest. You said you run shirtless with it on?

As for my cardio for the day, I was actually running really good but my dumbass tried wearing some short shorts and the friction from my thighs started hurting so I had to stop lol happy with my pace though. 2 miles in 18:37 so 9:17 a mile. My usual pace is around 10:00 a mile when I do long durations.
