I too remember when I was a 21 year old in school who thought normal working adults and non gold-digging-hoes actually mire Lamobs in everyday situations, rather than laugh out loud...

Yeah no $hit. I don't care if a paddle is faster as I'll never push a car like that to it's limits anyway and neither would anyone else who isn't paid to drive.

Honda Civic or supercar, I'll take mine with 3 pedals.

What's the point here? That 'normal working adults' see so many Lambos that they don't care to see them in public? Or that 'normal working adults' no longer like Lambos?

I bet there are plenty of normal working adults well over the age of 21 like myself that'd still love to see a Lambo driving around. I loved supercars when I was 5 and I'll love supercars until I die. If you don't care to see them in everyday situations then I'm guessing you were never a real car guy to begin with which is fine. But don't act like it makes you special.

Absolutely. I honestly prefer the gallardo though, much more understated while still having presence. And a hell of a lot more useable day to day, the murcielago/reventon etc won't get through a 6'6 width restriction, and I'd struggle to get it in my parking spot. Would need a camera on every corner.

Expensive insurance, expensive parts, tyres are not cheap, not cheap to maintain. It's a wide car, roads in the UK can be quite narrow. Using a supercar as a daily driver isn't as awesome as you would think.

I'd actually have a challenger, srs. Not necessarily the hellcat, but a strong v8 certainly. Great looking/sounding car, see very few in the UK which is a bonus.

lol the manual-or-die crowd makes me laugh. Manuals are slow and chitty. There's a reason nobody makes them anymore. Paddle shifters are faster, easier to use, and better in traffic.

And yes, I've driven manual cars and motorcycles. Shifting gears isn't really that fun, my dude.

In America maybe but in Europe manuals are still going strong. As for the car OP that 48k could be used on something much better and wouldn't decimate you in insurance. You know us Uk brahs don't have it easy on car insurance so buying that is not a wise choice at all.

OP, for reference, I have a 1996 Acura NSX with a 3000 mile/year driving limit that I pay $650/year for insurance, my buddy has a Lamborghini Huracan LP-610 that he pays $2600/year for, so im guessing you can expect around $1800-2000 USD a year on insurance if you have a good driving record and are over 25 years old.

As for maintenance, It wont be as bad as people will say, everything is crazy expensive, but I assume youre not going to be driving it more than 1000-2000 miles a year... If you are going to Daily Drive this car, then I recommend you buy a different car.
