In for promised 315 bench in 3 more days. Have you tried that new supplement creatine? Heard it will help get that last 10% with synergistic muscle memory loading.

You should go for it already. Why hit a triple at 295 first? I could hit 315 for a solid clean one when I could only mange a triple of 275. Yrmv of course.

It depends on what your goals are. If you're aiming to compete in powerlifting, then you need practice with competition standards

If you're bodybuilding, do whatever you find to be most effective for building muscle.

Usually when I see a grip this wide, people use a bigger PL arch and sometimes with a shirt. ROM seems pretty big for that kind of grip width.

MY BP is chit so IDK though lol keep grinding OP you'll get it sauna or latte

The scapula is not retracted at all, so I barely feel it in my traps. I do 4 sets of 15-20 reps after some light flies/pec dec

I’ve presssd 315 for two but I was much heavier. I don’t care about strength anymore but I’m probably getting close to a 315 bench again

You're not building strength with these 1 RM attempts

If you are worth 275x5, then you are only progressing onward if you use progressive overload from 275x5, 285x5, 295x5, 305x5, 315x5, 325x5, etc.

By the time you can do 295x5 you'll be benching 315x1 of course, but forget the show brah and just keep building strength. If you care about not hitting another plateau then keep using progressive loading.
