Speaking of ranges, just looked up the one about 20 minutes from here. They've expanded and have a 1600 yard range available now, I might consider joining there once I get the Tikka.

The regular rifle range is up to 300 yards and it's $10 an hour or $40 for all day. The long range that goes up to 1600 yards is members only but a membership is only $250 a year out there.

Kind of want a 10/22 but then again I kind of want a bolt action 22...only .22 pistol I've shot is the Walther P22 and I don't like it enough to spend $300 on.

Straightened up the garage a bit more today. Still some cleaning/organizing to do . . . but it's in much better shape than before. I let it slip a bit over the winter and with work stuff going on.

Took the bike down and gave it a once-over. Pumped up the tires and aired up the rear shock. Really need to do more riding this year.

Srs fuk not making a scene about someone being wreckless and stupid. I beat myself up heavily about my family member holding my pistol, while it’s in a holster and the guard completely covered, for muzzling someone.

I would make a scene or let the fuker know they fuked up. It would serve as a good reminder and memory to always practice gun safety for them and others including one’s own self.

I legitimately post things I goof up on and think you guys would grill me for to serve as a reminder for others and so that I can always remember.

If carbs make you hungry yes. I run my protein higher than true “keto” levels, run my carbs below 30g net per day and I’m not starving all the time. I can get away with 1g/lb protein and still remain in dietary ketosis levels .6 to 1.6 BHB as measured with a blood meter. I had my first carbs in 6mo on Saturday for my son’s birthday. Had some cake and ice cream, then a few beers at night with the wife on the patio, then was stuffing my face with handfuls of roasted potatoes cause I was ravenous. Woke up 6lbs heavier lol. I think if you keep your carbs focused on veg like cauliflower, bro-collie, salad greens etc it helps limit hunger as apposed to things like rice, bread, pasta etc, at least for me. Much easier to maintain a deficit when not so hungry you want to jump out of a moving car to eat roadkill.

This has good info on a variety of dieting choices and benefits etc

I seem to be less hungry now that I'm eating less carbs, prob because I'm eating more protein

Except in the morning between b'fast and lunch but I generally have always gotten a little hungry around 1030-1100 so I've been eating some peanuts so I can make it to lunch

Agree. I’d add that every gun owner should also own a good .22lr revolver. I have an old K22 that is a pleasure to own and shoot.
