It shows how if you go full Sjw bull**** it can kill a brand. You add things to a movie to appease a certain crowd, and said crowd won't even goddam watch the film. While doing this will turn away the actual audience which you have.

Had no intention on seeing it (at least not "pay" to see it) but I was dragged to the theater today.

It was.....alright. It wasn't bad but there's some blatant SJW scenes that made me roll my eyes because it felt so forced onto the audience. Glovers acting was spot on, but everyone else was forgettable. It wasn't boring because there was plenty of action it was your typical Star Wars flair it just wasn't interesting. Its just the same old stuff you've seen before.

HOWEVER, the unexpected cameo at the end REALLY caught me by surprise;

Introducing Darth Maul into the plot leads me to believe Disney wants to try to create an alternate story line for the Star Wars franchise

All Disney had to do was stick to the original Star Wars theme and it would be golden. George Lucas did the very same mistake. The guy got carried away with his own ideals and introduced so many dumb plot devices and characters in-spite of all of his loyal employees telling him it was a mistake.

It comes back to that thing of people wanting the magic of the first films. It just doesn't happen. Look at almost any film franchise (there are some exceptions). Same thing happened with The Hobbit films.

The only half-decent SW movie out of the recent ones was Rogue One and it seems like that's been the general consensus. Different writier(s) or something? Clearly superior to FA and Soylo and miles above TLJ. Sad to see how SJW's have completely neutered and killed a once great franchise.

Is there a reason she was brought onboard? She seems useless as a doorknob and brings nothing to the creative table.

Maybe its just me but I didn't like Rogue One very much. Main dude was okay and I found the girl the same boring Mary Sue as Rei. The only character I really liked was the villain because he actually did a decent job. He was a much better villain than Ren.
