Speeding on the highway and speeding on roads with multiple intersections, side streets, etc are completely different things when it comes to public safety. Not all speeding is done on highways. For example, the cop in the video mentioned multiple neighborhoods, driveways, etc he wanted the guy to turn into before the actual intersection he turned off on. Speeding through an area like this is far more dangerous than speeding down the highway.Catching people driving like cawksukers is also far more difficult. You have to be in the right place at the right time as an officer to see it happen. Far easier to monitor speed sitting on the side of the road.

There is this roundabout that I travel through almost everyday. The speed limit on it is 25 but everyone goes about 30-35. What this does is it makes it a lot harder for the cars on the sides to get into the roundabout safely. Because they cant get into the roundabout, traffic builds up and a long line forms, all because people are 5-10 over. The funny thing is this: 99% of people will think that going 25mph is way too fkn slow. So everyday you have congestion in this area.

1. We have no idea if he was actually speeding or not. No video proof, plus speedo could be off, who knows.
2. The cop did say next intersection and it's not like he sped off, then the cop got all snippy about it.
3. The guy is overly difficult with the cop, he could have just complied and the cop probably would have left. The fact he has all the law **** printed and laminated etc just shows that he is out to cause trouble.
Both parties were a bit off but guy recording definitely escalated it, probably for youtube/video views/money etc. (listen to his advertisement for himself)

Furthermore, if your engineers designed a roundabout that then fuked up the flow of traffic because they did a chit job analyzing traffic/human patterns ... then they suck as engineers.

Like I said before, what the person in the video in the OP is doing is a disgrace to the idea of filling a gap created by law enforcement. Before you say 'that wasn't his point', look at his arguments throughout the entire video and how outraged he gets when the police try to simply provide him with guidance (there was no baiting there): he posts 'policesplaining' like some SJW freak would say 'mansplaining!'.Cops routinely accuse people of doing **** they weren't and love making up BS. That's why any lawyer will tell you its better to remain silent and not answer and questions because they love to trick you into the rabbit hole of self-incrimination. The last time i got pulled over (suburban neighborhood) i was working out on the pullup bars behind a school. I leave the parking lot and immediately get pulled over. I'm nice and courteous as i usually am. Then, just when i think everything is cool and done ... the cop out of nowhere asks if i smell something funny... trying to pull an angle on me.
For anyone reading this and wondering what I mean re: 'citizen protectors', take a look at this book:https://www.amazon.com/Citizen-Prote.../dp/0199347557
It is the 'age of decline' that people (largely male) are feeling that makes people want to stand up as 'citizen protectors', often buying firearms to add to the perception of security and safety. This sort of thing warrants discussion - being pissy at cops for barely any reason at all just seems like a colossal waste of time.

The guy, and you talk about the dude's 'rights'...seriously...rolls his video down the entire way at the end of the video in the presence of multiple cops just so he can yell at one of them to go 'fukk his mother' - and people wonder why I call that guy a 'fat retard'? He's an infantile troll, just in real life. He himself recognized his epic double chin - I do begin to wonder if I'm one of the only ones who paid attention to the entire video. No it wasn't. Cop freaks out about the dude not rolling his window all the way down. Dude doesn't have to roll his window down all the way. Cop on a power trip didn't like that and starts wigging out. The cop serves the public, not the other way around. He needs to shut his mouth, remain calm, and respect the dudes Rights.

I didn't know 14 miles of highway and billions of dollars in 10 years vs 2000 miles in 4 is so off the logical mark. It's now been over a decade and they're still working on this 14 mile stretch of highway. That good enough for you?

As far as the DUI checkpoints. I mentioned they are a large reason for the paper you mentioned that the driver was holding. There are a lot of people (including me) that find them to being overreaching. There is plenty of evidence that shows them using these checkpoints to conduct searches of peoples cars without probable cause (of course they make some chit up). It is your Right to travel freely unhindered unless suspected of a crime.

This dude started off well then became a belligerent idiot towards the end. Can't really blame him for getting angry tho as the cop was a tool.
Cops definitely BS chit all the time because a large percentage of them view themselves as above the law. Some cop blew threw a red light with no sirens or anything and I almost T-boned him last week. Saw him turn into a diner a block down.

No sir it isn't. He is merely protecting himself. He's not answering because:"exercising his rights"by not rolling down the window is basically just rude and un-needed.Then not answering if that was his current address... what does not answering that solve? IMO not being civil and treating a cop how you would treat any new person you meet is being "overly difficult" see "more difficult than is needed or there is a point to"

IF I had a tons of bad interactions with cops my outlook may be different but I haven't... I have been pulled over tons of times (20-30+ prob) especially when I was young and dumb, I always just answer like a normal person, roll my window down, etc... I don't even use sir usually. I have NEVER had a bad interaction with a cop, every time I was doing something wrong I would admit it and accept my fate, and the times it was just the middle of the night (1-2am) with no reason, I realize they are just spot checking for drunks which IMO is probably a good idea.
The mentality of "every cop is out to get me/screw me over" is a bad mentality to have, especially if you are white.
Edit1: I realize again that there are some ****ty situations/cops that happen, but why would you assume EVERY one will be that way?
Edit2: Saw the added video and cliffs, again assuming everyone including gov/cops is out to get you is a crapy way to live and I feel sorry for anyone that waste so much energy living that way.
