Don't really get scared by horror films, feelsbadman. Last year I did watch The Shining up at my family's cabin out in the woods in Prescott, Arizona with a girl at like 1am and it was probably the eeriest feeling I ever got from a horror film, it was awesome.

I loved Insidious 1 up until we spent too much time in the Further. I think if Wan made up a way to keep the Further as something we never see but only hear about, it'd be to the film's benefit.

Martyrs.

Hereditary wasn’t really a scary movie just really unnerving, gave me the same feeling inland empire and begotten gave me.

ive proly watched all kind of horror movies out there, you name it , from B rated movies to the AAA's.... no movie is too scary . but if anything ill have to give it to

I dont know about scariest but Evil dead 2013 was one of the best ive seen, the other one is Cabin in the woods

As a kid Candyman scared the **** out of me. Had nightmares and would avoid mirrors lol.

it's hard to be scared by movies now. Most disturbing to me was Martyrs.

The ones that I find most unsettling are ones that if it were RL it would be legit terrifying.

The Shining
Seven (not a horror but **** me if this were RL it’d be freaky af)
Triangle
A Clockwork Orange has a real strange vibe to it too.

I think the #1 for me though would be The Omen. Not one of these movies have moments that “jump scare” you. But the themes explored in them are very unsettling.
