Not really, having herpes means I would have to tell everyone I plan on being intimate with that I have the disease. So that means I have to wait a bit (a lot) before having sex.

yes oral condoms as well help alot. and getting to know someone a bit helps. some people...are just not good.

It isn’t the end of the world.
1) You might be able to find someone who also has it (1/5 guys do).
2) A bunch of couples exist where one person has it and one person doesn’t. They just do careful timing and there are also medications that reduce your length of outbreak and reduce risk of spreading it.

I mean, there are couples were one person has HIV and the other doesn’t and as long as certain meds are taken by both, chance of transmission is low and almost never happens.

If people with HIV can get dates with negative people, herpes is like a mole hill in comparison.

It is a huge inconvenience to have a permanent STD of any kind but not the end of the world.

Just keep your head up and don’t be like that dude, let people know before intimacy.

It is a borderline crime to not divulge and in some states, it is criminal.

I have met guys who are ok with me having it but...they just want to get laid. which I'm not about. got heartbroken too because a guy thought I wanted to infect him..though he still wants sex...smh.

Damn but you don't have to treat her so badly. It's not like she knew before having sex with you. It seems that she cared enough about you to tell which shows that either she is decent or she likes you or she considers you a friend.

Everyone knows to get checked if you are being sexually active. It's common knowledge. His "um wtf" doesn't seem bad.. more like he's in shock tbh

Fuking lol. So OP is a sloot that let some dude alternately rub his oozing herpes sores and finger blast her gash and is now trying to self delude that somehow it’s a win because she will have to be less of a dirty whore?

don't know any black people with herpes. Got herpes from a white guy. and gonorrhea is way more common that that chart shows by the way.

Oh, I'm just saying that I won't have casual sex. I'll stay celibate until I find a real relationship where we both get tested first. It's more to do with I don't want sex outside of a relationship, but I'm also terrified of getting std's.
