Many teenage boys react similarly as the girl did to being arrested their first time only the cops aren't so nice to them. They then get slapped with more serious charges. They end up going to a prison where they are indoctrinated into gangs. These kids end up with ruined lives and perpetuate a cycle of crime in our society where they proceed to damage more lives.

In the video the blonde cop threatens her with Public Intoxication. She was of course in the passenger seat so I thought it was odd to charge one with Public intoxication as a passenger. But I did look online and in some states the state can legally charge you with PI because they consider a car a public area. That's a pretty ****ed up law.

There's nothing wrong with being a little rude, but the way she emotionally reacted to it and threatened to arrest her is fuked up. Cops don't go around threatening to arrest people to subdue them. They either have cause to arrest or they do not. They are not supposed to be emotional or use it as a way to assert authority over people. If a cop threatens to arrest you and you have done nothing and they do not have probable cause at that moment, the cop is basically provoking you and is also technically assaulting you.

Im on the cops side. If I came up to a vehicle with guilty passengers, and everyone inside is filming me already assuming im a bad dude, i will be a bad dude. Im not watching the video again, but I don't think i ever heard the girl say sorry or even have a guilty tone. If anything she had a defiant tone. She was underage drinking, a criminal act, and when asked her full name, she didn't give her full name, and resisted. When you are already engaging in a criminal act, it is a good idea to comply with law enforcement.

Cop was unprofessional without a doubt and escalated the situation.... but the young chick was stupid as hell for thinking she could resist arrest like that and get away with it. She threw away all the power she had the second she did that. The situation starts to "escalate" when the she is ordered out of the vehicle after she gives the officer erroneous information regarding her legal name (which can be a misdemeanor or even a felony in some states). By Pennsylvania vs Mimms (case law) it made it a legal command that she had to step out of the vehicle - to which she resisted and therefore dug her own grave.

I guarantee you, the chances are high that if she had just stepped out of the car on her own she probably would've been on her merry way within 10 minutes once the last name **** was cleared up.

I wonder what happened before the video started? There is not enough evidence in this video to properly assess what fully happened, but just enough "proof" to elicit an emotional reaction from people who already have a prejudice.
