Some people like to take responsibility for their own lives, rather than leave it up to other people to decide what's good or not for them.

Wow. It's like I called this exact line of thinking 30 posts ago.

It's a really good thing that there is an overwhelming body of research supporting vaccines on multiple different fronts.. and that research is publicly available. You can see who funded it or who the authors are associated with. I'll give you a hint: hundreds of studies available that had nothing to do with vaccine corporations

Ethylmercury is an organic compound too, isn't it? I'm not saying they're harmful in the amounts found in vaccines, just that they're dangerous in general. That is, they're toxic in very small amounts.

Whether a chemical is administered intravenously or intramuscularly, the bioavailability is higher than orally, isn't it? Does my mistake then undermine the essence of the argument that you can't really compare the amounts of a chemical found in a fruit vs the amount that is injected, ug for ug?

I'm not trying to argue anything, I'm just trying to figure out wtf is going on with the limited resources I have. The expert opinion has disappointed me far too many times for me to be able to blindly trust the authorities and "experts", nomsayin?

i agree. msds lists an ld50 of 75mg/kg in rats for thimerosal; not that small of a dose. bioavailability is always lower orally and really only pertinent for oral administration as IV bioavailability of IV is 100%. that is for active drug molecules, though.

But even then, when the "truth" eventually came out, they'd get sued into oblivion, and even more so when it turns out they were manipulating the studies. That argument makes zero sense to anyone who actually works in healthcare

Appeal to authority

Just like dentists who want to fluoride everything (or our water supply with chlorine/fluoride in it) but the 'experts' must know better right?

So... Nothing to say about the formaldehyde discussion? We just dropping that now? Or is the research invalid because it also appeals to the authority of the researchers?

They're either "And on the third day, God created the Remington bolt-action rifle, so that man could fight the dinosaurs" types or the kids are all "unschooled" and Dad is a bartender while Mom has her third naturopath visit this week for Lyme Disease no like really her psycho****tic symptoms are totally Lyme Disease.

Also, a side effect of not vaccinating is dead babies. Blows my mind, really.
This. Anti-vaxxers are another example of the insane extremes converging. Frutarians and Dominionists agree that vaxxines give people kids autism (and apparently herpes, judging from OP's graphic). The rest of us are pretty happy not watching children die of gruesome but easily preventable diseases.

Entered this thread to post something similar.
Maybe a couple of diseases wiping out the stupid and the weak (not targeting people who get vaccines or oppose them, just in general) would be a good thing for the world?

I can see some vaccines having real benefit, typically the traditional ones. But the ever expanding list of vaccines is suspicious especially coming from the same profession that has everyone on prozac, ritalin and ********. If I were a parent today I would get the same vaccinations I had as a kid and nothing else, that's the safe bet.

Y'all getting trolled hard.

No one can actually look at the science and support vaccination.

Polio and measles decreased because people were stuck by needles. Until we get double blind studies of syringes with and without vaccine we cannot prove anything. The only thing we know for sure is vaccines cause autism, the decrease in disease still hasn't been linked to vaccines.

Here is something for the rabid pro-vaxxers: from a doctor himself:
https://www.askdrsears.com/topics/he...s/vaccine-faqs

"Research indicates that patients with impaired kidney function, including premature neonates [babies], who received parenteral levels of aluminum at greater than 4 to 5 micrograms per kilogram of body weight per day, accumulate aluminum at levels associated with central nervous system and bone toxicity [for a tiny newborn, this toxic dose would be 10 to 20 micrograms, and for an adult it would be about 350 micrograms]. Tissue loading may occur at even lower rates of administration.” Wow, that was a mouthful. I had to read it three times to understand it, so feel free to do the same.

Hib (PedVaxHib brand only) – 225 micrograms per shot.
Hepatitis B – 250 micrograms.
DTaP – depending on the manufacturer, ranges from 170 to 625 micrograms.
Pneumococcus – 125 micrograms.
Hepatitis A – 250 micrograms.
HPV – 225 micrograms.
Pentacel (DTaP, HIB and Polio combo vaccine) – 330 micrograms.
Pediarix (DTaP, Hep B and Polio combo vaccine) – 850 micrograms."

The real truth is that neither the vaccine, nor the original virus/infectious agent is good for you.

Both of them can cause unknown problems distributed through the body and years of life.

The way I handle whether or not certain vaccinations in bioengineering is not simple. I personally examine the mechanism of the pathology (usually a virus) in question and decide the best way to defeat it in the least dangerous manner possible. Some commercially available vaccines, for example chicken pox, can/will cause latent infection with the virus, which becomes a constant drag on the immune system for the rest of your life and the effects of which are either unexplored or unpublished.

Nerve transmission, reflex and stimulus response is degradable, as you should well know from working out in the gym, more exercise usually means more need for rest as you exhaust supplies. Having an active virus present in the ganglion of nerve cells is undoubtedly putting a strain on the genetic/energetic events required there to sustain life and moderate awareness/response as supplies are already limited before the virus appears. The fact it self maintains suggests a constant turnover of proteins (YOUR proteins are re-directed to make VIRAL proteins instead of sustaining your own cells' needs) and nucleic acids, essentially a "duty cycle/process" similar to running programs in the background that are interfering with your activities. How much faster or stronger would you be without the viral presence in those cells?

Remember that not only do the viral proteins use up your nutrition components and energy, the immune system is also constantly capturing and killing the viruses that escape infected cells, which can sometimes get pretty far from their host cells (shingles is exactly that, and herpes sores is another example of the same thing, viruses escaping and the immune system can't keep up) which further uses up immune system resources and proves that it can fall behind in terms of production/protection. Immune memory is not infinite; you can't remember every single virus and the more infections you have, the more antibodies you need to memorize and produce, the more immune cells die each day to unnecessary conflicts (enemies from within that should not be there) the more tired, weak, unorganized and closer to death the cells will be. The cell is an enormous factory full of working machine parts and wires. Imagine such a place with 1000's of gears and wires running all over the place. then you come along and say "im going to live here" and you start spreading out your belonging all over the place without any regard for the machines there. You barrow parts and tools to make your own living quarters and then create copies and start sending them out. Out of the factory to infect other factories. Forever.

No I don't want that living inside me. I will take dead viral fragments and boosters to provide long term immunity but I will not endure such things as permanent infection to my neurons intentionally as some vaccines provide. The only thing I can say is learn some biochemistry/virology/bacteriology/bioinformatics get a master of science in bioengineering and then you can make some reasonable decisions regarding immune safety. Otherwise it doesn't matter how much you "read online" because the real truth is often so far from what you read its unbelievable. Since the man made compounds that designed to inject can be fouled up even through delivery or storage, even if you are super careful you can still get hit with some terrible result. It only really pays when you design/verify the mechanism, store, and delivery the vaccine yourself.

Childhood death rate is at an all time low and vaccines play a big part in that.

And since shingles in adults only happens after you've had chicken pox at some point in your life, you're basically getting a twofer with one shot.
