Right now you're pushing a ****ty product, no one wants an autistic chubby out of shape loser. Work on yourself and really dedicate your life to obtaining your goal and it will come.

One thing i've learned though is that once you get the puss it really doesn't seem like a big deal any more, it's just puss. literally a guy sticking his dick in a hole. seems so stupid to me honestly that someone would desire something so trivial so much.

and at this current time in my life I actually prefer not to deal with females at all because I've been burned so bad in the past I have no desire to deal with that again. but my point is bud, if you want it bad enough you need to work toward it, not just expect it to come. get all your ducks in a row and when an opportunity presents itself you will be confident enough and desirable enough to capitalize.

I was a 23 year oldnon-virginand still thought girls were everything. Then I decided to stop giving a chit and be awesome on my own terms. Still working on it, it never ends. My aim is to be doing something or have some kind of aspect of me that people can want to implement in their own lives. Having a wife and kids is one thing, but that involves another person.

Long distance hiking and wild camping all on your own doesn't involve somebody else, makes me feel accomplished and inspires other people. That's good enough in my books.

You mean asceticism? I'm over that, I just want to feel like I'm building towards a goal or ambition that doesn't involve someone finding me sexually attractive and a viable partner. I wanted to succeed for my own sake, which resulted in me doing a tonne of stuff on my own terms, and as a result building a life that people find appealing and piques the curiosity of a tonne of women.

To boil it down:

I want a girlfriend, so I'm going to hike the Appalachian Trail and it'll make girls love me because they love success.
I want to experience success, so I'll hike the Appalachian Trail. Random girl asks me what I've done in life "I've hiked the AT". "Wow I love hiking, can you take me up x mountain one day?"

That's the difference between you and me. And the second mindset is what I've adopted since 23 and carried me into all of my relationships.

People do not read walls of text, do you even internet?

Every time someone writes a wall of text, the immediate response is "But who was paragraphs". People use common terminology to refer to things, even if it's incorrect by definition. Oh, when I did Nofap I was all about asceticism. The moment someone in our thread said "Mirin Tobias and his asceticism" (to paraphrase) my ego hit the roof. That's why dating apps and sites do so well. We now live in an electronic world where text is easier than talk.

In terms of "going out and talking to girls" I personally have a hard time putting that into context, I'm sure I'm not alone. Is one supposed to just awkwardly walk into a crowded bar alone and try and start a random conversation with a female you find attractive? Accost females in the street or shopping mall without trying to look like a wierdo? Its not really in fitting with my persona and my character. Sometimes a direct, specific platform is the best way. Even then of course it can be a struggle.

If I am to be honest this is not entirely true. Maybe when I do what I am passionate about I forget women like dancing and running but when I am done, if I haven't been laid then this is on my mind. OP does have to get real world experience, and he does have to build confidence. We can't expect him not to fail more than a handful of times.

The thing is, what we're trying to do--if possible--is explain why valuing getting laid as a be-all-end-all is actually more dangerous in the long run.

We encourage him to spend time away from the misc, to gain real world experience. But OP has to understand why that needs to be done before he can know -what- he must do.

To OP:

I have a couple of small challenges for you today. If you can knock out 2/3 of these I'd be immensely proud. These are baby steps, but they'll get the ball rolling.

Remember this is an investment in yourself.

Goal 1:Download the "Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***" PDF online or on your phone (that way you can take it with you anywhere). Read the first 2 chapters. Give the misc a couple of thoughts on what you've read when you do. I want to make sure the ideas are being internalized
BONUS:Read the first 5.

Goal 2: Take 1 hour today to think about what you would like to improve about yourself, and what you like about yourself. Write those things down. Try to be as detailed as possible, and try to get as much as possible down. It doesn't have to be all in the same hour, just throughout the course of the day spend some time doing this.

Goal 3: Do something for the first time today. It could be anything, but do something you have not done. Challenge yourself a little. It doesn't have to be something huge. It can be something small, like taking a walk in a nearby park you haven't seen. Or investigating something interesting you've been considering for a while but just never got around to it... It could even be learning a simple go-to low calorie recipe for cooking and giving it a shot.


Come back with a small field report and feedback re: these goals

We have been doing a lot of theorizing but now it is time for action brah. In fact, if it helps a little, I will try to run every goal with you should you agree.

Just re-read your other post, I am pushing a ****ty product out. You are 100% right. My problem is though and Tobias can attest to this it isn't like I have high standards.
