Point is perception past a certain age. Could have come from a stripper or a talking fleshlight.

You really asked if lifting is important at an age where your competition are all fat slobs. You probably feel it's pointless because you're fat too. You think you're swol, but you have fatceps and get confused for a construction worker.

if that's you in your avi, i don't think you'll get confused much for someone who works out anyways.
he he
but srs, being a 250 lb bloatmonster might be weird, but being your best physical self has never been a bad thing.
i'm your age, and that's the only way i stand out in a crowd of peers, because everyone else looks 50+ and is barrel shaped.

Age has absolutely nothing to do with it. If you're attractive and buff at 22 or 38, you're going to attract the same women regardless.

It's not your appearance

Lots of lols in this thread.
Haven't been to a strip club for 10+ years so can't comment on how much weight they have on viewing the outside world.
35 and look much better lifting than non lifting, my wife also loves it. I look at a lot of guys post 30+ that just let things go; there are as many lean guys as there are muscular guys (maybe 10%), and the rest are skinnyfat or dgaf about their body at all, focused on career, kids, or just getting by.
I'd lose my fukkin mind stress wise if I didn't have some sort of positive physical outlet.

You will almost always be better perceived, ESPECIALLY by women your age because you get bumped up in the attractiveness scale comparatively .

Health benefits of strength training as you get older outweigh the opinions of what a random stripper thinks.

Pretty dumb question. If you're in shape and look strong then you'll look more attractive in most people's eyes than someone who isn't, no matter what age you are. And like someone said, chicks around that age want "real men" with some size more than young dumb girls who like the skinny Biebers of this world.
Maybe you get to a certain age where you probably shouldn't slap on fake tan and walk around shirtless anymore, but to be honest, a guy in his 30s or 40s with some muscle who carries it well will often look better than the younger guy. At that age it says "I've got my sh*t sorted, and I still look after myself..." rather than "I'm a thirsty f*ckboi who lifts cos I want to bang sloots."
Maybe. That's my theory as an over 35 guy who lifts anyway.

I get a lot of attention directly from the way I look because of lifting. The attention has never been negative

Being 35+ and muscular is NEVER a bad thing. Anyone that tells you that looking like you lift means you’re a meathead or come off that way are just trying to cope with the fact that they’re not in shape. What else would you even do instead of lift anyway? Sit home and Netflix? Drink and balloon up like any other 30+ American? Most people don’t have to develop their career at night, if that’s what you’re doing to come off as successful you are careering the wrong way.
They said she's gone too far this time
