The best part of watching soccer is 2 halves of '45 of uninterrupted, no commercial viewing. Unlike the NBA, where theres a commerical at every whistle.

The South American teams (thinking of Uruguay ans Brazil) are unwatchable because their best player's strategies revolve around flopping (thinking of Neymar and Suarez).

Probably won't watch the next one even if the U.S. makes it in.
Besides the South America part that's a good analysis of what actually happened in this match.

Shame. The French are *******s. At least Pogba stepped up.

I answered that in my original post. I watch because so many people love it so I want to see what's so great. Don't really see how confirmation bias comes into play here... You just throwing out phrases you don't understand?

I don't really watch the other sports you mentioned either. Though I do enjoy those more than soccer. The thing about basketball is one bad foul call is unlikely to ruin the rest of the game like it did in the world cup final.

French bastards with park the bus and time wasting. Croatia should be proud of their team, they attacked the whole game against a top side with world class finishers. Can't do much against a team that blasts screamers from outside the box. 2:4 is a respectful loss, better than 0:1 crap we had recently.
