A little over 2 months. But to give context, I’ve always been a 1 date a week girl (with all my exes) bc I only want to be around that that often. I met my current bf and we both want to see each other basically 24/7. I have a job and chores I need to do so we limit our time together to 4 nights a week. Already had all the big talks with him and we align on all the major things (family structure, lifestyle, values). Even my friends noticed that I’m more open with him. But no we’re not moving in with each other or getting married bc I haven’t quite lost my mind yet.

Why have you been so prickly recently?

I don't see the point in banning people when the site is losing traffic at the rate that it is. The bummer is when you post loaded questions like this, it makes it look like mods are not being fair when the reality is some mods are just more lenient or would rather warn people rather than jump to the ban hammer. You didn't actually address any of the things I said because I'm right in this case. You don't know someone after a short period of time (3-6 months). As a woman, I have no idea how you can handle not knowing if the dude would even protect you in a violent situation. Because you don't want to ask yourself these questions and because you gambled and it paid off (like I already said), you're backfilling the logic to make it seem like I'm wrong when I'm not.

I can go on for 10 pages but you get the point. People after 3-6 months (especially in modern society) are still putting on a good front and haven't let their guard down. You can't say you actually know someone, even if you knew that person from a group before. If they can't handle being in a ****ty country with no electricity, etc, if they can't handle being broke after losing their job, if they can't function like a normal person when someone in their family dies, etc.

I just don't get it. It blows my mind when I see people get married or move in after dating someone for next to nothing in terms of time. I've been with my gf for almost a year and a half and we're still learning a lot of things about each other.
