Honestly probably the reason why is because they're swiping on everybody (hot or ugly) to get as many matches as possible and when they do get matches, they just message the ones they find attractive. Alot of guys do that. It is what it is.

Either that or the messages you're sending are trash.

Pretty much. It's also mostly white too. I have no issues with interracial dating. The travel pictures that every white guy has is either Patagonia, NZ, or Spain. I'd even like the travel photo and mention that I want to visit there and still no like back. Same for they guys with shooting a gun photo, I'll comment on it and no response. Then you have guys with the fly fishing photos......

Thats very concerning TBH. If the female its at least fukable, she will get tons of messages even by Chads just wanting a quick release.

My theory is dating apps completely nerfed their algorithms for males unless they pay for the monthly subscription. Females don't have to pay, but maybe when there isn't many "premium" members in her area, it just says "No one available in your area."

I used to get dozens of matches every week on Tinder. Now it's a wasteland. I was out of state for a while and even out of state it was a wasteland. When I got the monthly thing a few years back it wasn't even as good as 2014 with a free membership. These apps are complete sh!te nowadays.

Notice how there's tiers now, too? They just want to get more and more money from dudes. The females aren't paying for that sh!t. I would love to see the statistics of how many males and how many females pay for Tinder memberships.

I used Tinder back in 2014. I would frequently get an immediate match on a swipe right.. "It's a match!" - it was fun. Now these apps feel like a complete and utter waste of time.

Is it because I'm 4 years older? Is it because the women are more selective now? Is it the algorithm?

BTW, I'm on a Bumble Boost trial and it's made no difference. When I FIRST signed up I was getting matches, now little to none.

^ This. Tinder (etc.) is not in the business of helping men hook up. They are in the business of extracting as much cash as possible from beta chumps before the beta chumps get tired of the rigged game and quit playing it.

It's the exact same business model as strip clubs. Lonelycels paying to look (but not touch!) while being forced to buy $30 drinks (2 drink minimum).

I remember hearing there's an age bracket, too. Like once you hit 27 or 28 Tinder completely fuks your algorithm up. Or maybe most chicks have their age range from 18 - 26 or something. It completely dried up for me, though, and I used to do good. "Moments" was the best. Chick posts something about being lonely at 1 AM, ask them to come smoke up and get drunk, they're at your house in 20 minutes. RIP dating apps

You'd be surprised at how flaky and sweet (candy) shop distracted guys on online dating are too.

When I was on I had guys fall out of conversation/not reply after a message or two and then hit me up some time later, very obviously not realising we'd been in contact before. You do a lot smh'ing and eye-rolling.

(Also if you have 'looking for relationship', most guys will not waste your/their time by replying when they're not (but haven't said so on their profile).

This, height absolutely kills my available pool. It's a super easy thing to filter out, so women (especially attractive ones with too much incoming to handle) will filter it out. Even 5' women will filter for 5'10+

80%+ of women <5'4 I check on say, Match.com, will have a height preference that's above mine.
