9 episodes in and really enjoying. Where Miguel is worried about Sam with Robby and Johnny's car got torched.

It's a great show. The toughen up, get over it, aggressive masculinity as a good thing, in a show is really nice to see.

I've only watched it once, but I've been so tempted to watch it a second time. Not many TV shows entertain me in my spare time, but this one did, so I'm tempted to watch it again.

This is a good show. It was obviously done on a lower budget but kept the cheese factor just about right just like in the original movie.

I don't think it would've benefited from a bigger budget tbh.

Next season maybe to get Hilary Swank onboard. But I am sure Terry Silva and Mike Barnes will take the work on for cheap.

Yeah man just finished. Pretty annoyed with the last episode. Felt like they switched a lot of stuff up to try and make Johhny and Cobra Kai the bad guys again. Assume they are setting up for the 2nd season. Didn't like it at all after getting invested in Johnny and Miguel.

Rest of the show was just great though.

good show, but also agree with ssg up there. don't really understand why it started to turn against cobra kai. it was specifically the last episode and maybe a bit with episode 8 or 9 with sam and robbie

nor why it became "poor robbie" when he was a massive ******* and was using larusso to get back at his dad

probably set up more for the series, but think it could have been handled a different way

and if johnny submits to that old sensei i'll be pissed. mr. lawrence or whatever better not be a part of johnny's chit or i prob wont watch

Yeah they seemed like they wanted to remake the old movie where Johnny is turning into Clease, Dan into Miyagi, Robby into Daniel and Miguel into Johnny.

Problem is Johnny spent the whole season trying to NOT do that and then him and Dan seemed like they were getting along better in episode 9. Episode 10 just seemed like it ignored the rest of the season.

Also really annoyed me, like you said, how Robby gets turned into some victim when he was trying to screw over his dad and Johnny just seemed to want a chance to reconcile when he found out, but big bad Johnny.

The only character I could see in Episode 10 was Miguel because he was angry about Sam and how she was treating him. Just found it funny how she tells her family he doesn't exist and doesn't invite him over and he gets turned into the bad guy. Anyone would be annoyed if your gf treated you like that and started hanging out with some other guy.

Getting too invested but really enjoyed the rest of the show and episode 10 was like wtf.
