For an analogy most guys have probably at least observed...why is it that football defenses tire more and more quickly than offenses? Why is it that more plays and more runs and more time of possession wears out the defense, to the benefit of the offense? Same fundamental principle at work

Anyone can be subjected to evaluation and criticism of how they perform their job. But...an officer is one of the only careers where their performance is routinely tied to the free-will of violent criminals, the mentally ill, and people under the influence of intensly psychotropic drugs.
Makes the evaluation of our budget reports or shift close-outs seem a lot less intense, right?

I hate all this "All these cops had to do was X. How hard can it be?"
Warren Buffet is a billionaire. Want to be a billionaire? Well, all you have to do is X.
Cops go through long periods of boredom and BS, sprinkled with intermittent periods of chaos. It's a tough job and it sucks that so many people out there hate them when a couple of them make a bad decision.

They had him down and he got off....shouldn't of happened if they had the correct training

So the thug gets shot, dragged, punched/hammerfisted repeatedly in the face/head and still manages to break free and get away, while heavily intoxicated and outnumbered 2-1 on top of that. That thug is the probably toughest dude I've ever seen.

I don't think that was the case in this video necessarily, but that's just a great keyword to really see what the human body can do.

It's easy to sit at your keyboard and criticize reactions of people who are literally being shot at, eh? lol
Not even willing to do it on your main account either SMH

Do you think hand to hand combat training is a bad idea for cops?

Glad the officers made it alive and that POS can rot in prison for the rest of his life. Amazing the logic of someone who will trade in a DUI for life in prison all for the chance he just might have gotten away with it for a night. Some people, their only reaction when stuck in a hole is to dig deeper.

if you read the story. the police had already pulled him over and ticketed him and went on their way. they decided to pull him over again for no reason... thats harassment if you ask me.

The cop on the left should've tackled him when was reaching for a gun in the car, had plenty of time instead he hesitated, turned around and ran into the other cop slowing down time and disrupting the cops shot allowing the criminal to shoot them first.
