vaccinations definitely trigger autism in some children. how else can you explain that a child is perfectly healthy when they walk into the doctor's office and then after they receive the shot they literally become autistic? autism used to be listed as one of the side effects of the vaccines, before it became such a hot button political issue.

of course in most kids they don't trigger anything, so you can't say they CAUSE autism.

the question is, why are those children suffering the side effects? I'd imagine that they are already at risk due to other factors such as high exposure to other toxins, formula fed, etc..

In all honesty, I think it's just being diagnosed more and being enabled more. Back in the day, it wouldn't be diagnosed and they would basically be ignored.

In other news, this article shows increased risk for autism if the mother got her first period early (60% and 30% increase for first period before age 8 and age 11). And 100% increase if mom BMI was >30.

Agreed. bro. Drug culture could also have something to do with it but there's doctor's that have kids with autism. It's the vaccine at birth or birth control, that messes up the women's birth system. Back in the day it was because the kid was born to early or the woman had an abortion before.

There are studies showing correlation between neurological injuries at a young age and autism. I.e. concussions, being dropped, brain bleeds, any other brain trauma have positive correlation. Inb4 walking causes autism. Bc every time a kid walks, he risks falling on his face.

no, the court ruled in both cases that the vaccines caused crippling encephalitis.

Think there is over-diagnosis too though, it's the same with mental illness. They just want to throw any medication they can at you has been my experience. Especially now with the trend to discontinue use of scheduled medications. I had to go all the way out to Utah to be prescribed ******** because of chit going on around here. I come back here and they take me off immediately and try and throw me on all sorts of other medications instead of the chit I need.

or the fact that we havent payed much attention to this issue before, now everyone who isnt doing as well as their parents expect them to need a diagnosis and needs to be put on the spectrum, most of them arent rainman.

Some truly have autism and other major issues but a lot of the people on the spectrum simply have different personality traits not suited for life in a cubicle.

The reason your characterization is so misleading is that it is plainly false that 1 in 59 children receive traumatic brain injury from vaccines, so this cannot be the cause for the rise in modern autism rates. I.e.,Vaccines --> traumatic brain injury --> autismcannot possibly be the cause in the rise of autism.

By analogy: sunburns can cause open sores, which can be infected with MRSA. Does this mean that the sun is the reason for the rise in MRSA?

Ok, look, if you're worried that vaccines cause exceptionally rare adverse events, that's fine. It's a cost-benefit analysis, and it is very clearly true that the cost (death and morbidity) of non-vaccination outweighs the extremely low risk of adverse events.

But you started this thread to explore why 1 in 59 apparently are now on the autism spectrum. I'm pointing out that extremely rare adverse events related to vaccines cannot possibly be the reason.
