Still have focus on job and kids, no worries. I don't drink/do drugs and this situation hasn't made me feel like I want to to numb the pain. I just know how to have fun with the ladies on the side of my important responsibilities.

fuk this chit. Fukced up beyond belief there are so many people out there that do **** like this. Obviously there is something good going on if you've been married to the same person for a number of years, obviously some reason you stick around that long and I don't buy that she could be in denial about everything like she says. Likely just got swept up by the tingles from a new guy, which she knows will pass. Fukced up that people out there can throw away a decent relationship for someone who hasn't really done anything for them, with 0 fuks given.

In NC adultery is an absolute bar to receiving alimony.

Property will still get split 50/50. Child support will depend on the percentage of time each parent has the kid vs income.

It is possible that OP could collect alimony if she earned more.


As for the danger of pity fuks....technically you can do whatever you want without repercussions once you are separated.

More importantly, OP already has a lawyer, and will get better advice from him than the misc.
