He didn't get wrecked at all.

As he stated from the start, he said OP will be signing a cheque to her after all is said and done - which seldom agreed with. OP didn't "write a cheque", but he did the equivalent giving up the residence instead.

Everything went well for this if all is already said and done. I didn't think it would be an amicable divorce, but it seemed to go tht direction.
