Of course I'm exaggerating but the only thing I've read on the feature is Nocturnal's quote. I haven't seen any articles explaining how the feature knows the difference between falling and then not moving and being dropped and not moving.

The watch already knows when it becomes taken off. When you take off the watch it will lock as well as stop all activity tracking. I assume the same will be true for the ECG. By doing that it would stop the monitoring and calculating ROM/drop speed.

So back to the topic instead of the name calling. this is a good thing because if you pay for an EKG, out of pocket,it is 50-100 bucks. If the data logging is legit or even close to actual legit ekg reading numbers... then it is a very useful feature in something that you might buy anyway.
