I'd like to see Dexter take 2nd. He's fairly confident this year but I'm sure they all are. As for Flex word is he's moving up to open next year. We'll see. Definitely would like to see Bumstead take 1st in Classic.

Politics are involved for sure but Phil has won the last 8 titles because he's brought the best physique to the table. In 2017 he had 2 hernias which required surgery which is why his gut was so distended. He still beat Ramy as far as over-all physique.

Simple fact is at the moment Phil is the most dominant open bodybuilder. I like Kai but I never thought he brought enough to the table to dethrone Phil.

Thing is Heath could conduct himself better on social media. He's not the most charismatic guy. But yeah who the hell will come close to him by the time he retires? No one.

Those bellies are just too insane.

Was hoping the rumors were true that kai would compete. His last show was the Arnold in 2016 so for the last 2.5 years he has stayed in contest shape year round and arguably could step on stage as he looks now with a couple weeks heads up.

Awhile back Kai was talking (Either IG live or a youtube video can't remember) about his priority shift away from Mr. O. Supposedly he just doesn't want it as bad anymore and is focused on his other business ventures/ appearances/promoting. Kai is huge in other countries like India, Japan, etc. IMO he's better off retiring as a #2 competitor then just competing year after year and falling in the rankings. Phil will most likely win 10 in a row then retire. Kai might be a contender but by the time Phil is out the game who knows where things will be.

Personally I think Phil is coming in to silence the haters as far as the gut thing is concerned. And if his mid-section is fixed I doubt anyone else is gonna top him.

well I can't argue with the points you made about Kai.

During the Olympia press conference tonight Rhoden called out phil heaths posing and said it was shiit. Then Phil Heath called him an eeyore looking mofo. Phil is a dbag but he is a funny dbag and can back it up so

Bumstead has already beaten Regan before in competition, and I expect the same result this year once they stand next to each other. Regan has never come in with impressive conditioning, and I haven't seen anything in his prep for the Olympia to suggest that it will be any different today. /

I've seen his Instagram. Bumstead will 100% be more conditioned, and Regan has never stood beside these top guys before. Even when he won the NY Pro to earn his spot at the Olympia he wasn't blowing anyone away and it was a semi-controversial decision, and Bumstead would have wiped the floor with that lineup.

Well...Shawn in the prejudging looked awesome to me guys. Think Heath still has a guaranteed win? I have to say that Shawn (no homo) looked incredible - amazing condition, separation, detail - awesome. I'm not sure that Heath has it in the bag...

Ramy didn't do well - you could see it as soon as he came out (separation, detail?). Everyone is talking about conditioning vs size...I'm no expert but here is one case where size doesn't always win - he has come in big for years now so I'm not surprised the judges weren't too impressed.

Big ramy looked loose as hell and as a result of not listening to anybody about worrying about conditioning over size he is paying the price (5th or 6th place). Also his legs man.. needs to stop working his quads for a few months it isn't even close to looking good.

Rhoden looked insane and actually is ahead of phil in points right now as of pre judging but im sure heath will tighten up for tonight. Heath has Rhoden beat in the back but everything else is close and even have Rhoden ahead in a few poses.

According to Nick's Strength and Power, some of the higher ups in the industry have an insight to the judges' scorecards. It's rumored that Shawn is ahead of Phil right now. Don't underestimate Phil though... Dude's won 7 Mr. O's for a reason. IIRC, there was someone in years past that was also ahead of Phil during pre-judging. The only thing is Phil is usually really good about tightening up for the night show if he needs to. an on-point Phil Heath beats anyone not named Ronnie Coleman
Strong mind, strong body.

The problem is i dont know if the judges would let it happen if Shawn was slightly ahead of phil. Would love to see a new Mr. O and would love to see how phil would handle losing
