I hear you on annoying co-workers giving advice op. There was a broad at my last job that weighed 300+ pounds that got lap-band surgery. So as soon as she starts loosing weight, she is running around giving everyone advice on how to eat properly to lose weight like her. She was one of the few people that could set me off into a rage whenever I heard her talk. Fast-forward 2 years and she gains all the weight she lost plus some back because even though she was eating less during her main meals, she would eat junk food all the damn time. She ended up having the lap-band removed and getting bypass surgery because the doctors told her it would be harder to cheat. LOL

Fad diet or cash diet would be a better way to describe it though.

Your body treats MCTs like a carbohydrate. Its a different mechanism of absorbtion from a typical fat
Even eating too much protein will kick people out of ketosis. A traditional ketogenic diet is 85% fat which doesn't allow for adequate protein consumption for people serious about weight training. Protein is going to be especially important in a low carbohydrate environment since fats are not muscle sparing like carbohydrates

Try shifting more of your fat to saturated instead of the nuts and avocado. Saturated fat is harder for your body to breakdown into fuel and may push you over into ketosis

Worst is when they ask **** like “hey trinnie you’re the only one who hasn’t gained 15 lb working here, how?” (Bc my work has a lot of free food). And then when told I lift 4 days a week and do cardio 5-6 days, plus track my food, they hit me with “oh that’s too much work”.
Enjoy being 5’4” and 180 lb then.

Losing estimated 25 pounds, but I highly doubt i am in ketosis considering my protein intake is way too high since I just eat meat and cheese practically only
but whatevaz I want to lose 10 more pounds then clean bulk back up

correct me if im wrong but for a body builder going low carb is that not the dumbest thing you can do for gains ?
after work outs you will be eating away at your muscles and fat only after and slowly but surely you will lose fat but also alot of muscle
vs
simply working out fasted and having a large carb meal after
would that not yeld in better fat loss while keeping the muscle gains?

I find the intermittent fasting fad followers/cult members to be by far the most annoying providers of constant unsolicited "diet" advice of the past few years. The "eating clean" crowd held the crown for quite awhile before them, but they're still a solid 2nd place of annoying dieting advice pricks.

if you added up all the weight that our fatass bookkeeper has said she has lost, it would be 1 metric fukkton
this time she's doing keto and telling everyone about how much (obv water) weight she's lost
i hadn't heard anything in a while and knew it stopped and she confirmed that she hit a plateau for the last 3 weeks
"i think it's because i'm eating too few calories"
