Absolutely pissening hurricane it doesn't surprise me if ramped up to near cat 5 status in the warm waters of the gulf. Such a perfect looking storm

Jack chit happened here. Some branches fell. I didn't personally see any real damage but I saw on snap some people had trees fall.

Looks like Michael blew all it's steam on PCB and the coast. We won't even see wind speeds higher than 40 tonight.

Rain died down, still windy. We didn't get hit hard at all, but a lot of trees and branches got knocked down, with debris everywhere. Power is also out, typing this from phone.

Yep.

Central pressure at landfall (919 mb) is also consistent with cat 5 intensity.

Only two US landfalling hurricanes have had lower pressures at landfall - Camille in 1969 and the 1935 Florida Keys hurricane.
