This. It takes 30 days to make/break a habit, so if you complete Stoptober you have a high chance of quitting for good

i have this chitty habit of drinking beer after riding mountain bikes on the weekends. i have a consistent routine of waking up early, riding for a few hours and then drinking like 4 ipa's that get me pretty buzzed. i make food and then pass out. i wake up and i feel like chit. then at like 6pm i go and sit in the sauna to try to sweat this chit out.

every saturday and sunday. its like clockwork.

edit: just woke up and i feel like chit. going to try again next weekend. i did stop the p0rnz a few weeks ago so im going to keep the streak going

Establish better systems for my work so that I can work a little more efficiently. I want to be bringing in $20k a month with about 100 hours of work a month rather than the 160+ it takes now

2 weeks in going strong so far with stoptober. Have a required meeting that starts with a "cocktail hour" this week. Gonna be hard to not drink when someone else is buying top shelf.

Just tell the first person who offers in the group that you’re doing sober October, and remember that no matter what situation or place you’re in, you’re in control of your decisions.

And what happens after you quit for a month? You'll go back to the same addictions.

not necessarily true, some ppl stick to it. even if you go back you still gave your body a break and a chance to "heal"

all women do this. morally I agree it's wrong but in a world without morals I'm thinking more and more to just do what's best for you

if your rs is clearly sh*t but you both fuk each other why not continue getting sex for a while until you're ready to bite the bullet. she has probably checked out and it banging someone as well

obviously totally different story if your girl is head over heels for you and you don't feel the same. doesn't usually work that way or you wouldn't have got with her to begin with
