Given the time frame the show is supposed to be set in, this is actually fairly accurate. Geralt in the first game for example had long hair and no facial hair.




Just needs a facial scar and paler skin.

How do they pick Cavill over guys like Anson Mount, Mads Mikkelson, or Nikolaj Costner Waldau? There were honestly tons of better choices. Cavill also looks way too big. He needs to get back to his Immortals body or something. Geralt isn’t Superman.

Hopefully they'll refine it while he works on "being Geralt". I think he's got the acting chops to make it happen, but we'll have to wait and see.

yeah you can tell he had studied the game, both the expression he was going for and the way he tipped the drink.

I can tell he:

1. tried to deliver the same nuance
2. failed at it
3. indicated/overacted.

it was a badly acted moment but also you can tell he tried to act, which is bad acting...

But that's not to say he doesn't have the ability.

Just that chin is way too retarded and his upper lip/mouth area has gotten a bit deformed and lost the youthful glow and charm.

He just plain looks old and gay with 6.5/10 acting skills.

Disappointed at Polish brahs for selling out like this. Everything Netflix touches turns to **** sooner or later.

Maybe .. but should be able to at least give an average performance, never seen half decent Cavill work tbh, Geralt is also less robotic than superman, which seems to be HC only acting range.
