Ok Cupid got so many complaints from 18-21 year old girls about old guys hitting on them they almost changed their policy.

Or just look at the age ranges they set. At the top of the profiles “don’t message me if you’re old”.

There are exceptions but it’s not even arguable that the majority of 18 year old girls are actively seeking 30 year old men. That is a highly uncommon pairing, which is common sense because they don’t run in the same circles at all and often don’t have anything in common.

You end up dating who you’re around most of the time. It’s not rocket science.

I usually just lurk here but my experience in the dating scene is extremely vast 100's of dates and 1000 +hookups so let me give you guys my 0.02 cents about things already discussed

18 year old girls may initially find a 30 year guy old physically attractive but won't seriously date him or take too seriously when they find out he's 30+. from a 18 year olds girls perspective 30 is considered very very old to them...an older established high status guy to them tops out at 22-24 with worse returns after that. this goes for probably 95% of 18 years olds, there's a small minority of those sugar babies who just don't give af

secondly...I've been on tinder and bumble since the first month they were first launched...so circa 2012-2013..it was laughably easy then.especially as a good looking guy but even then my pics weren't stategically all that..numbers from 90% of my matches and dates set up within 10 lines of convo could be had...now in 2018 its harder than ever, I could show you guys my instagram/tinder/bumble...even some model looking airbrushed pics of myself and yes I get 30 matches per day on bumble/tinder but the convo with these women can die in an abrupt second.they'' just stop responding many of them.average ones...getting a girl comfortable enough to go on a date is 10x harder than it was just 5-6 years ago.

You would be correct. Or girls who didn't have a father figure. I would not limit them to "sloots" or club rats. Usually if a girl is actively seeking men who are much older than her/in completely different phase in their life there is something wrong with her. Although I am sure there are exceptions.

This is where we differ in opinion. Imo for women there is what misc refers to as "glow" which lessens with age, regardless of how well they look after their bodies & face. Men don't have glow, they have balding and being bloated. Assuming men stay in shape and don't bald, generally the man in his 30s would be more attractive to an 18 yo than the woman in her 30s to a male 18yo.

That sounds a lot like a coping mechanism and a fantasy.

18 year old women won't be interested in a 30 year olds unless she is desperate or he's got a lot of money/status. Even then she would likely still rather be with an attractive guy who is in her same age range. It doesn't matter how good he allegedly looks in comparison to his female counterparts. There will still be much more attractive(and relatable) men her own age. While it is much more socially acceptable for an 18 year old to date an older man than vice versa, it's still something most young women have zero interest in.
