Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

Patagonia, Northface, Arcteryx, and Columbia are life. Thats what 90% of your wardrobe should be come winter.

Maybe...a CG jacket.

I saw some review somewhere that said they don’t even need the black polish anymore so I’m excited to see them. Hopefully the quality actually has been improving. Also hoping I didn’t goof by going with the cap toe over the wingtip

yeah you did brah. I've had both, and the wing tips were better quality--reinforced eyelets, laces and leather. still, for $50 you cant complain

I want proper dress pants, wool. I always find the regular fits to be too baggy at the bottom, or the slim fits to be tight on the quads. I don't know wtf to do.

I ended up buying two pairs of dress pants from bonobos for black friday. They offer manlet inseams with athletic fit, which I've never seen before, so hopefully it works out.

Buy the regular ones, take them to a tailor and have them taper the legs from the knees down.

Got them in today. Both are the best fitting dress pants I've ever owned, 'mirin.

My brooks brother 4 for $200 shirts also came in. Returning and never buying from them again.

The reviews on other sites seem pretty good. For 50 bucks we’ll see how they turn out.
Had the boots for a couple weeks now and they’re legit. Would recommend. Didn’t see them drop any lower for Black Friday but they were still only about $40

Congrats on the return. srs.
I did the 4 for $200 deal, then had to spend ~$200 on alterations, because they were too baggy.
also, lol for not having a button on the forearm.

You have to get/know the right fit from Brooks Bros....can't go with the traditional "old fat man" fit. Thought everyone knew that already.

Some of my most aesthetic fit OCBD's are BB...quality it top notch. Also 1818 line not the 346

They aren't! But they are from a line that J Crew has carried before, Chup Socks. Burzan knows what's up.

Bros, does anyone know how Srben is ? I follow Burz and Cooz on insta so I know theyre both alive and kicking. I am surprised how much this thread has died , Ill be honest I don't necessarily dress SNP these days, but I think this thread was much more than that. This, the frag thread & misc watch crew tend to be some of the best places on the misc to post.

I got the slimmest fit, milano, and it was still baggy as phuck at the waist. Went back to Bonobos again but for dress shirts and got their tailored fit. Once again, amazing, they didn't disappoint.

Aside from the ties and daily planner, I have lost the love for Brooks Brothers.
All the classic stuff is too baggy, and cost twice as much after alterations. (purchased 4 button downs for $199, then had to drop $160 on alternations at Nordstroms).
The red fleece collection is blasphemous
