Enjoying this thread a lot more than I thought I would.

FYI for anyone that dares to rate themselves a 7 or 7.5.... There have been repeated reddit threads where people were asked to rate themselves. The discovery? Everyone rates themselves a 7. Even the absolute worst looking people.
So two things:
1) You can't rate yourself. Everyone has a self-dysmorphia. You might have big ears or bug eyes, but you just never noticed, meanwhile everyone else would account for it in a rating. On the flip side, you may have a strong jaw and various other chad-tier features, but you might not notice over something that's insignificant.
2) If you're a guy, your "rating" should be irrelevant. On dating apps, you control the pics of you that they see. Learn about lens focus length and the enormous difference that makes with pics. On a date, your behavior, personality, (sigh...yes money too), and other qualities should overshadow your looks. Your date is auditioning for you, not the other way around.
