You keep saying that race/religion doesn’t play a part, but when certain groups commit crime/violence at a far greater rate than everyone else, regardless of which country they’re in, I would argue it does.

I'm sure wincel would be completely comfortable with his young adult daughter, if he ever had one, traveling around 3rd world countries like Morocco either completely alone or with groups of only other females. After all, he's been pretty firm in arguing his beliefs that he feels it wouldn't be any more dangerous than if they were to do the same thing in a place like the United States. Surely... SURELY he would be more than comfortable putting his money where his mouth is on the matter if he ever had to consider it beyond a strictly hypothetical context on a personal level. Yep, no doubt he's clearly the kind of guy who holds firm when the rubber meets the road in life.

Since men commit far more rapes and significantly more homicides than women, do you also conclude that their gender is one of the main motivators for killing those two girls? Fuking lol.

Yeah.

There was public outcry, and they were acquitted. Clearly the public of Morocco doesn't support the stoning and jailing of women. You take one isolated incident without the whole story and spin it. There are gangs of Islamic fundamentalists there that harass people. There are also people here in the US that will shoot you for wearing the wrong color.

But tell me more about backwards cultures.
We can do this all day:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...?noredirect=on

The women’s rights activists were there on behalf of Amina al-Filali, a teenager from the small town of Larache, near Tangiers, who died the previous Saturday after drinking a lethal amount of rat poison. Amina committed suicide following what her father described as a series of brutal beatings by her husband, whom local authorities had pressured her to marry after he allegedly raped her. Witnesses say her husband became so outraged when she drank the poison he dragged her down the street by her hair. She died shortly afterwards.

The Moroccan penal code was updated in 2004 to give women greater rights. But in the case of rape, the burden of proof is often on the victim to prove that she was attacked or risk prosecution for debauchery. While rape is punishable by five to 10 years in prison under Moroccan law, it rises to between 10 and 20 years if the victim is a minor. But a rapist can marry an underage victim in order to preserve the honor of the woman's family.

Not sure why you’re trying so hard to defend them. Are you Moroccon?

I would not. I would not trust her to walk around most of the US unaccompanied either. I see that since you lost the logical debate, you have descended to an emotional ad hominem attack of some sort. Read my earlier argument.

Correlation is not causation and Bayes' Theorem holds. Do I need to whip it out for you to suck it too, like Gravity Lee? Damn.

Another ad hominem. No I am not Moroccan. I am American. You are fishing for isolated cases to attempt to prove a general trend. You act like the country of Morocco encourages rape or murder. It does not. That law to marry underage victims has existed in common law for hundreds of years btw. Morocco repealed it in 2014, just one year after Denmark repealed theirs. lol

Yes, you read that right. Denmark, a "First world" non chithole country had that same marry your rapist law until 2013. Funny how that works.

How naive can you be? If a Muslim is beheading people there’s a good chance they’re doing it for religious reasons.

“State television 2M reported on its website that authorities consider the two women’s slayings a terrorist act. Local media reported that the suspects had links to the Islamic State group.”

Yes, you read that right.
Like I said, I can go all day with these “isolated” cases. Morocco treats its women just like every other chithole Islamic country.

Keep championing them though, it’s not weird at all.

Pretty much. There are predators everywhere. I would always want my child to be supervised, accompanied, or armed at virtually all times. You can't even always trust law enforcement since many rapes and sexual assaults are committed by law enforcement officers.

I tried to slice through some of their prejudices, but it isn't working. I made clear, cogent arguments explaining my point. I see no use in any further attempts. In the end, they have chosen (or been brainwashed to choose) to believe that these "third world chitholes" are entirely populated by enemies of the US, white people, christianity, or whatever and must, therefore be destroyed. They will allow their hatred to inspire them to kill innocents and shed no tears for the lost. They will rationalize that it was necessary. It is funny how they do not see how similar they are to their true enemies. And the banner of patriotism is eerily similar to the one of faith too.

I thought it was pretty obvious. Certain groups are more prone to acts of violence & commit more crimes. So race, religion & gender all are a factor.

Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t.

I don't think I made my point clear enough. I was trying to say that if he absolutely had to choose between a hypothetical daughter of his traveling around Morocco or the United States alone for some matter of time, according to him, he might as well just toss a coin because he seems to firmly believe that there is no difference in the level of danger she would be in based on which country it was. As in, let's say she walked up to him and told him she was doing one or the other and the ONLY say he had in the matter was which country she'd be traveling about randomly, he had to pick - according to his arguments, that choice would make no difference to him in terms of how he viewed the level of potential dangers involved. Not that he'd actively encourage either to happen.

And to be completely clear with all that, I'm joking and implying that he'd just wuss out and pick the U.S. in that instance if those were his two choices. I don't believe for one second that he truly believes what he's saying itt deep down to a point where he'd put his money where his mouth was if he had to face it on a personal level rather than speaking in purely hypothetical liberal utopian ideals.

Your hypothetical scenario isn't specific enough to answer. Where in the US is she walking? How is she dressed? Is she armed?

The murder stats I quoted were for the entire countries. They are not predictive models for individual action. I would need more specific data to make that comparison.
You can't even put together a coherent argument so now you're resorting to desperate ad hominem attacks.

This is a valid Bayesian approach for individual action with incomplete information. It is not a valid approach for military action against a collective group of people. You are forgetting the conditions. If you decided military action were to be taken by your government against people with blue vests, a lot of innocent blue vest wearing folks would get fuked. Even some people who would have helped you stop the blue vest gang wear blue vests themselves due to being police or something. Your fallacy is to apply your personal conditional probability to the entire collective for whom the conditions are not satisfied. In this case, those conditions would be specifically wearing blue vests in your neighborhood.
The probability of blue vest people being dangerous given they are found in your neighborhood is not the same as the probability of blue vest people being dangerous in general.

This applies very well to the immigrant situation too.
