Deciding not to have kids seems like it's only a few steps away from suicide in a logic chain.

You don't really want unwilling parents with unwanted kids in the world, so at least the no kids crew are honest with themselves.

These are the worst reasons to have kids. Extremely selfish to want a kid so he/she can take care of you when you're old. Trust me if your kid moves to another state for a career, or is just career focused in general, you'll be in a nursing home. And you'll be a douche for even expecting your child in the prime of their life, to completely shift all of their life goals and dreams to take care of you. Get real.

And the "legacy" idea is even dumber to me. Most of us are mediocre, and our kids will also be that. You aren't Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos, or even a professional athlete. It's not going to be a great tragedy if your genes don't get passed on.

The usual misc anti kids banter lol. Having kids is torture some days and the best thing another day. Most people have kids by accident and chalk it up to "omg I am so glad I had kids by accident, they're my little blessing!"

I cwnt type out smother huge response for kid threads. If you're financial stable in a serious relationship then consider having kids. If you're in a fuking terrible relationship and you know for a fact you're not spending the rest of your life with that psycho bish then get out of that relationship before the inevitable happens. Once you have a kid with someone, that person is going to always be in your life one way or another.

I can see how some parents could end up miserable in that situation. Eternally. The product of that kind of environment is often a degenerate child.

I've wanted a child ever since I was around 20. Of course I always wanted a boy, luckily my first born was a boy. So it's literally been a dream come true for me, which makes things that much sweeter.

Not going to lie, life does seem like it would get super lame and lonely if you're 40+ without a family. Still don't think it's good to just selfishly pop out kids because you don't want to be lonely though.

All the my bloodline, my legacy reasons are dumb too. There's 7 billion of the species in the World, legacies and bloodlines are straight delusional.

Friend who has a two year old is constantly exhausted and says if she gets out of the house without some kind of kid bodily fluid on her that is a win (medic too). All friends who have kids have a house that looks like a bomb has gone off and look like they have aged about 5 years in 1 year with zero time with their wives. Husbands on dat job lock time due to schools. This is all before their kids are teenagers that say they hate them while treating them like an atm and taxi service before



Looks like hell on earth. Meanwhile gf and I on dat dual income no kids time, further careers and having holidays out of azzrape price periods.

Same here. It takes effort, but it’s not a “fuk, I have to go do something” effort. I want to do things with my sons, I want to be involved in their lives. I enjoy my time with them. It gets hectic at times, but life gets hectic without kids. Not saying that everyone should have kids by any means, but chitting on people who choose to is pathetic.

Most people's kids end up as wagecels. It's funny how people talk so good about their kid, yet their kid is average at best.

99% of your legacies aren't legacies. This is huge, huge, cope being the simple fact you will never be the 1%. You couldn't hack it in sports. You couldn't last in politics. You couldn't better humanity. Etc. You're all disposable along with your kids so no one cares about your legacy. The Walmart family is leaving behind a legacy.
