I just got brutally friendzoned (srs)

cliffs

-girl and I hit it off, hang out a couple times lowkey. no kissing/touching but there is flirting.
-christmas break comes and we don't see each other.
-she then texts me asking if I want to be her "adventure buddy"
-I say ok, we make plans to go on an adventurous trip
-she then reveals she is currently IN a relationship but still wants to hang out as long as I realize there are boundaries.
-I say nah srs


did I dun goof? Should I have played it off and hung around if she breaks up with him eventually? Seems beta.

if this was the case then the mistake youre making is by not pursuing her now since from what i gather, she was willing to break up her current relationship, its probably maybe still the case even if you agreed to be cucked.

that was my thought process as well. After she told me she was in a relationship I pictured myself going on the trip with her and cringed at the thought of being the beta male friend guy. If I'm going on some trip with a female it means I LIKE her.
