Yeah, thats why I went quiet on helping people out/giving advice or posting any sort of income proof on here. Last time I had a call out thread made about me (pretty sure it was OP who made it. I think hes got like 3 threads now on calling me out over the last 12 months... weird unhealthy obsession.

Anyway, last time I had a call out thread, some creepy elliot rodgers type miscer emailed me wife to confirm my lifestyle. I dont mind talking about what i do, or what I earn - because the forum should be anonymous. When people who you dont know or never met start messaging your family to ask questions - then you know you should take a break from the misc/internet and just focus on your own life for a while.

People on £40-50K/year live like students in London. Legit... And before you go and google the prices of the menu and call me out for lying. We had paired wines with tasting menu and cocktails and a few bottles of wine top.

I didnt just start my business off with that rate, thats absurd.

I started it around £180 (ex VAT) an hour, then got more and more clients, so I started increasing price to drop off the volume. I know most business guys would say, thats when I should start employing people - but ive been down that route before with old companies and nobody is as committed to your business as you are (which is fair enough) and I didnt like the idea of diluting profits. So I just kept increasing my prices until the volume died down.

Please dont think though that I charge £900/hour and work 9 hour days .

I probably work on average 2 hours a day, but its 7 days a week. Obviously I have days off here and there - but this is what works for me.

With the 'free time' I run my other businesses (which i havent really spoken about) and manage my investment portfolio/taxes and all that ****e.

Cant be ****ed to 'prove' myself anymore in this thread as I feel its been done to death now.

900K sounds stressful if you earn an average salary, or have hooked into a bad interest rate.

I've got a good interest rate and proven income of ~£400K. Its no sweat.

The mortgage atm is on interest only (I plan on paying off 10% of remaining balance each year in full until the fix leaves. I went for the longest fixed period I could find to protect myself from interest rates hiking up to like 15%)

Interest only mortgage repayment on 35 year loan for £900k = £1200 / month (based on 1.6%)

I'd need to earn around £20,000 a year in order to be able to pay that off and live in a dream house - this really isnt painful or hard..


edit: to above - the ONLY debt I have is for mortgage. All cars are paid off. Boat was paid off in full too. Probs got like £2K on Amex which is due for next week, but i always pay off everything in full each month, to boost credit score + get air miles .
