I’m assuming you are referring to the 3rd straight Heisman winner that just transferred in? It’s pretty cool, but not celebrating anything until they finally win another natty.

You get a 30% federal tax credit for installing the system, which was $8,500. At the end of the first year you take the amount of the tax credit and do a principal payment to keep your payment at $160, otherwise it goes to $220.
idk how solar works. so you have to pay off the 28,500 but you get money every month for producing energy?

U wot?? No he pays that money for the system and then doesn’t have to pay for electric bills anymore..

Once it’s paid off he won’t need to pay anything for electricity anymore.

It’s worth considering for our gas station actually

About $20k paid over 12 years @ 2.99% for the 'stuff', get paid when you are a net producer and give back to the grid.

Plus some extra interest the first year when you haven't paid the federal tax credit on the principle yet

Probably instead of paying money back and forth with the electric company you get a credit on your bill when you produce over your use and give back, and just draw electricity against those credits when you are a net user...which will obviously vary by season at least and possibly weather

Did anyone watch or listen to the Kansas State of the State address tonight?

I refused to listen to Governor Kelly lie through her teeth about not raising our taxes. She, along with my Bait-and-Switch state senator, last year voted to raise our taxes.

Kelly wants to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour and expand Medicaid. As if our state isn't broke enough! And she's for "gun control" too...
