Therefore, God is in every positive aspect of our life, including the power we have when we push, despite feeling like giving up. And God is in life and love and all the beautiful people we care about, so I think he is everywhere, we just need to count more of his blessings and learn to thank him for the obstacles too.

If we can reason the makeup of the divine - the traits associated to a supreme being, that it is, omniscient, omnipotent, omni-whatever, - he must be these to be absoultely supreme - 'divine'. This then stands to reason, that such an all powerful being cannot be contained within a creation that is limited in design.
This does not preclude him from manifesting himself within a limited space, just that his totality cannot. Furthermore, if such a being created a limited space, it must be for 100% in effect, good and just to do so, meaning: that anything less would indicate a lack of supremacy. This does not disable him from allowing a separate sentient form from existing, but that it has limitation. Not all sentient forms would necessary be the reason for such a creation, rather, ones that were the intended - the ones that deserve eternal manifestation.
And if such a place exists, with sentient forms existing, he cannot undo his will at the mere behest of a contingent sentient being, but he cannot entirely hide himself either - without sacrificing some element of supremacy (in regards to being a rational being - a quality of the divine). Thus there must exist some revelation to occur without undoing his will/purpose for creation.
Christianity fits the bill with this line of logic. So if you want to know where God is, read the new testament. Jesus made it clear that he's the interface to the totality of God - in other words the only thing we can focus upon and sanely understand as God - God in flesh.

(I've helped convert several people through door to door preaching. Catch them when they're down, and it's almost scary how effective it can be)
I'm not going to sit here and say god doesn't exist because I can't prove it. On the other hand, theists can't prove his existence. All they have is anecdotal evidence, which is NOT reliable. I see a lot of theists use mental gymnastics and cope to justify their claims.
As someone who's spent over 20 years of his life as a devout servant in a sub-denomination of Christianity, I haven't truly felt the presence of god once. If anyone else has then good for you, however extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Until I see otherwise, God will remain an irrelevant character in my mind.

I used to be a Christian.
But I have come to the conclusion that there simply does not need to be a god for the Universe to exist.
“But how do you explain XYZ???” just because we don’t have the answer to evrything does not mean the answer is god did it.
I have also come to the conclusion that in the end what keeps people believing is purely emotional reasoning at its core.

That was it.
And this one time he headed on up the ol Saba hills, south San Saba hills, gone on up with a bunch of texas ranger buddies of his.
Pretty routine, you know, done like a hundred times before, shoulda been a three day kill.
But on the second day, well it all went ****ed.
Somehow, at night, he managed to lose his buddies, and to top it off, the Comanches they went and took the horses.
So he was starving, he was delirious, and he crawls up in this motte, like this group of trees out there in the middle of nowhere sticking up in this ocean of scrub.
And he found religion.
In that moment, he told me, he found God.
And it turns out, that God, he’s a squirrel.
Yeah, big ol meaty one.
I found God, he used to say.
While I was sitting there basking in the sublimity of mercy, I shot and ate that son of a bitch.

READ THIS: You know how your Visa gift cards usually end up with $0.63 left on them, so then you carry them around for months before you eventually just throw them away? Well, Tarck's here to tell you that most charities have a PayPal link on their website where you can quickly donate that balance (even if you don't have a PayPal account). It only takes a moment and it beats literally throwing money away. Thanks for your time; we now return to your regularly scheduled cuckold and FA threads.

Amazingly, to understand the origin of something, it can be complicated, BUT that doesn't make the essence of it simple (relatability). That's why the bible refers to things in imagery, like parables, or familial equivalents (father, son). Not everyone can/wants to philosophize the details. If God came down and explained absolutely everything, it would be beyond mind numbing and dare I say irrational.
How can one ask of God what is against his nature - and expect a result? And as to what you mean by 'God' is a very important definition - that could be closer to the truth or further from it. Something to think about when thinking about questions like 'where is God'.

If there's a God, we're in hell srs. The Abrahamic religions make it clear that this realm is ran by the devil (I'm assuming those are the religions you are targeting).

God is both transcendent (exists outside the universe) and immanent (exists within his own creation, the universe).
Within the universe, God is literally everywhere. Specifically, God is within you.
How to access God's consciousness within you, of course, is the eternal question.
