No, it's from foreigners (mostly Europeans) who bought the dip. They want to park their money some place safe with all the chit going on in Europe. There is ZERO percent chance we enter a bear market any time soon. At most we get another dip but after May it is on to 32000 and then 40,000 rather quickly.

Paint me skeptical. At some point the debt loading is going to have to deleverage. we might see 32000, but I don't think we've got enough going on to push us past 40,000. Especially if the tax code gets reworked depending on the next president.

If they come up with a legitimate candidate I'm yanking everything. As it issomehow it doesn't seem that likely anyone from the democrat side is going to be any good. The only ones announcing their runs are the loons that seem on par with Palin. This should be the most winnable election EVER, but ofc Dems can't pick a good candidate and the Repubs seem to be short on good charismatic leaders. Would be interesting to see a high level military fella make a run. Someone similar to Mattis but perhaps a little younger.

I'll prob never go gold. BTC I probz won't consider either, but might consider. People gonna go cash when markets are bad- anyone with "savings" in BTC are gonna yank it just as hard as equities to meet their obligations. Gold I think people liked as a "safe-haven" asset, but I think people would rather get BTC than try to deal with getting physical gold and pay a premium instead of spot price.

i bought ADM broski, not AMD. I been waiting on amd to drop for like a month lol. and after my initial investment i haven't put in more.

im interested in REGI although im monitoring the MA's closely.

SQ is my biggest holding, but not even top 5 in terms of how much $$ I've invested into it (MSFT, AAXN, AMZN, MU, V all have more pumped in). I was happy with their earnings.

Which is why I haven't bought more lol That's not even including the large chuck I have in my NASDAQ index I put in 7 years ago which got me into investing and the ~40% of my M1 account I put into tech daily. Overall about 60-70% of my portfolio is tech. Slowly trying to change that but I'm also not going to sell tech investments that are doing well just because I'm tech heavy, still believe in all the companies I'm invested in.

Energy is all that I’ve been since Q2 of 2018. It’s easier for my simple mind to think about

Consider it a hedge on gas prices

My 401k is tech heavy but I also have blended a lot of my investments between large/small cap and about 10% of my investments are in bonds to hedge against my more volatile investments. That's why I was thinking to myself with your investments about diversifying.

Ya I've been thinking about Marathon Oil as a result. Also Texas economy is booming and won't stop. MRO is at $17 now. They had a great last quarter which is shooting the price up. I just need something a little different in my portfolio outside of my mostly tech heavy stocks.

That chart is similar to one of the two oil companies I am holding. CRC.

Might be a good buy

Compared to something like VNOM with a sweet dividend but a share price that has gone nowhere but up since January.

im thinking of getting in. read that ed sheeran and paul mccartney insisted their concerts in argentina be powered by biofuel. with renewables/energy efficiency a hot topic, it's a great time to get in.

Would you consider renewable energy more volatile than say Oil/Gas? I know solar is kicking off more though.
