How can a porn consumer look down on someone for sexually gratifying them (ie. the people they are watching)?

If the weren't consuming the porn, and deriving sexual gratification from the women they think they are better than, then that would be a different issue.

(For the record, I'm not encouraging non porn consumers to abuse them, or think they are superior in value to pornstars.)

I would say sitting around watching people get assaulted is degenerate behaviour. (I've done it, for the record.)

It not the same action, but they are both degenerate acts, IMO.
There's levels to it. You can say watching porn is degenerate behavior, but it is several levels above being involved in making porn. At the end of the day, only one side voluntarily offered up their bodies on film for money knowing full well the social stigma attached.

Some people look down on porn consumer, but never to the extent of the actual models.

In context, I'm talking about porn consumers (like probably guys in this thread) talking about her (and Bree Olsen) like she's scum, because she's been a pornstar.

IME it's the equivalent to a coke consumer looking down on a drug dealer, for a porn consumer to insult/abuse a pornstar.

I think it's faux sense of superiority, becuase it's a symbiotic relationship. Pornstars wouldn't exist without porn consumers.

Having sex for money is quite literally the easiest thing a woman can do. They are scum because theyve objectified themselves. The same cannot be said for consumers.
Evidence.

They are scum because they took an easy option to make money and sexually objectified themselves, that's it?

I personally do not see them as scum. Many of them likely have great qualities and would be cool friends/fwbs, but I (and most guys) could not ever see them as relationship material because they are pretty much the definition of a whore, and the video evidence will last as long as the internet exists. Nobody wants their future kids to have a legit prostitute for a mom.

That said, I understand those that see them as scum. Porn is filled with barely literate drug addicts who's only real skill is the willingness to abandon all self respect.

This.

I agree I think when it comes to the looking down part, it's mostly towards starting and building a life with one.

There's no way most men would take some one who's been used as a cum dumpster for a living over someone who isn't.

Wereas most women will still marry dudes who fap and watch porn (obviously this doesnt count for addicts)

The stigma for someone who took cum for a living outweighs greater than a consumer.
