I have honestly considered deleting all these dating apps. This forum is probably one of the triggers sadly. Going to gym sadly is another. Going to mall where I workout is another. Going anywhere in general where attractive girls in general is a trigger.

I hope you break the addiction.

You're not damaged beyond repair. Neuroplasticity is reality (as you probably know).

Also, (if you haven't already gotten this advice), I wouldn't advise looking at it as 'making it to 30 days', but more '30 days without porn' (if that makes sense).

Every stretch you have without porn (no matter how big or small) is good for your brain.

This forum probably doesn't help regarding triggers... I hope you stay out of the LTC, HTC, and 'rate this girl' threads.

Do you have an religious or spiritual beliefs?
I try and stay out if those threads. The big hits one included lol. I’m catholic but not a religious dude. Appreciate the support guys. I’ll kick this addiction.

Same, the no fap movement is a dumb fad that leads to nowhere, it's just blaming symptoms of a bigger problem, ultimately, nothing is resolved or improved.

When you're done being stupid, go find the post where I stated that I can get on board with no porn, makes total sense. No fap is a cope, but just keep telling yourself that I'm mad and maybe you'll feel better. Better yet, go fap.

I can jack off to bikini photos posted in threads or porn. Stop trying to find a scapegoat for your inadequacies. Pornography isn't new, it's just easier to access. We're eventually going to have full android sex robots and VR that will make your standard porn session of today a joke.

If your mind and body cannot handle moderation, yes, stop at once. But don't try drag everyone else into your biased articles and anecdotes. Just like with drugs, alcohol, violent video games, anything, those who can exercise control and moderation and those who can separate reality with fiction can safely juggle the benefits.

I do fine with real sex, but sometimes when you get home you just feel like tugging one out to a 9/10 porn clip. It's convenient and stimulating. People with their: "It leads to an acceleration of sexual demands to get off" are misrepresenting the data and just showing those who are weak minded. I can get semi just reading a hot story. If you need to watch 6 midgets using garden tools to get off, then yeah, stop but that's a you problem.

Those who abstain from any fapping and sex are even on the more extreme side of this idiocy. That's doing more damage than you can possible imagine. You're forcing and telling your brain to produce less semen, to not replenish. Your body is about adaption and if you're sealing your self from release then your body WILL react as a matter of survival. It will mess with your testosterone production/levels as well. Males were designed and meant to bust nuts over and over. How you do this is up to you, but if any methods like porn have a negative affect on you then try other means.

You can make it, brah.

Being Catholic, have you listened to/read Richard Rohr? I think he's good some good practical advice for becoming spiritually healthier.

Also, please consider this for motivation; Masturbating to porn is practising being selfish. You have no concern for whether the women are genuinely enjoying themselves or not, you are only concerned about your own self gratification. It develops an emotional callousness, where you practice not caring if the woman is enjoying herself or not.

I'm currently off of porn and fapping at the same time. If I want to fap, I'll fap. If I want to watch porn I'll watch porn, but I'll never fap to porn directly because it usually leads to me doing excessive amounts of both.

I've found my cravings for both have went down. So I believe the key is moderation rather than completely abstaining.

for most people this wont work. personally when i watch porn i get lots of horrible after effects which i initially mentioned in the post, including brain fog and lower level of functionality (brain is slower, words dont come naturally, not as good a speaker as you are without porn etc). thats why i abstain from it.

Chronic, life altering fapping is a symptom of some other problem. I'd say having too much free time, but if someone has TOO MUCH free time, then nine times out of ten it's because they're lazy, socially inept, etc., and they need to resolve those problems as chronic fapping results from stuff like that. The same can go for any other addiction activity, eating, alcohol and other unmentionable hard "pharmaceuticals;" most addiction I've witnessed has come from seeking an escape from a problem/situation that is going to require work and effort to resolve and it's not easy. However, what IS easy is to indulge excessively in something that's going to make the individual in question feel better for some duration of time.

For example, if someone has a problem talking to girls, then that person needs to work on talking to girls and being more social and finding things to occupy their time with. It's not the fapping that's causing that, it's the individual, for better, or for worse. No fap is a cope because people believe that by not wacking their willies that they're going to do a complete 180 and become some fantasy figure in their minds, when the problem was never the fapping to begin with, rather it was always a symptom.

If a guy gets nervous around women, can't hold a job, etc., that's not because he's slapping his salami; the only way you're going to become more comfortable, or more skilled at doing something is by engaging in it regularly or practicing at it.

there are so many benefits thats its a clear no brainer to go nofap tbh. brb boners stronger than ever, able to last longer, looks bigger, voice is deeper, thoughts are clearer. brb more social. people around you can see the difference. nofap is the first step towards changing your life. I strongly urge everyone to try it and see it for themselves. porn and masturbation is numbing us to the world. its affecting every spehere of your life, from motivation issues to ed problems.

I'm not sure I can buy the able to last longer part and the looking bigger is a total fantasy, basically none of those benefits are things I'm lacking anyway. What I'm saying is that if a person is so far in the depth of being a social outcast because of their own inability or unwillingness to be otherwise, then the problem is not fapping. Fapping is just a symptom that can arise, from a bigger issue, it could be chronic life changing fapping, it could be addiction to other stuff, or otherwise self destructive behavior.

And LMAO just LMAO @ fappers and their false claims of "high test" to beat their meat. Self control and discipline is what we sorely lack in this day and age.
LOL absolute bullchit. I fap to the pr0ns like 5 times a week;

brb still ambitious and motivated as fuark
brb try to emulate acts from pr0ns on real women (sloots these days are watching the same chit so instinctively they enjoy all the fukd up chit being done to them, contrary to journalist reports)
brb energy for days from being motivated to work hard and diet to look like men in pr0n films i watch (no homo)
brb approaching women like they are objects

If you meet those symptoms OP has mentioned you are just a beta ******* who would have those problems without the pr0ns

i dont think nofappers are social outcasts as you bluntly put it, i have always done well socially but my life quality increased rapidly after i quit porn and went nofap. just because you stop fapping doesn't make you obsessed with it, you free yourself from your addiction of masturbation and open yourself to the world
