When I get sick I don't. I usually keep my calories lower.
I make a broth/soup with chicken/turkey stock if I have it or chicken broth. I add in chopped elephant garlic and two chicken bouillon cubes I bring it to a boil, then let it cool and eat it.. I eat this as is or I will pour it over veggies, chicken , pasta or rice. This reduces my calorie intake yet fills me up.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

I'm 46 years old, 5'9, in week 7 of my shredz, dieted down from 187lbs to currently 174lbs.

I hope to be shredded at 165lbs, which would be 15lbs heavier than my last attempt 10 years ago (old pics are in my profile).
Any body fat estimates?

I also thought I will probably not be able to reach my all time best when I got serious again three years ago. Now I‘m bigger and stronger than ever.

I started lifting at 27 just bro lifting.
In Sept. of 2009 a guy from the gym, a friend, suggested we compete together for the first time. After having colon surgery in Dec. 2009, while recovering I had an epiphany. I realized I've been training all these years for what? I decided to take my friend up on his offer to compete. My goal was to win a Masters BB competition.
That occurred for the first time in June 2011. taking second.
Next comp was in 2012 taking fourth.
In 2014 I competed twice in Mens Physique over 45, I was 61, and came in ninth out of nine.
Six weeks at the young age of 61, almost 62, I won Masters Over 60 BB.
Goal accomplished and
I was in the best shape of my life.
It only took me 62 years to get there! (see avi)

Here's some back photos from about two weeks ago. Started slowly cutting on a 250-300 deficit, only looking to lose a little. Can't embed for some reason either. Need to get a decent camera or better setting so photos can turn out a little better.

I am not doing any cardio. Diet wise, it's a bit of a story. When I came to BB.com 10 years ago, I was one of the IIFYM guys trying to debunk some of the myths of body building, see also the old sticky thread in my signature. I logged everything I ate during the cut and documented the results here:https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...hp?t=117483821
Now I'm doing the same thing:
- I drink 100g of whey each day.
- Above that, I eat whatever I want. My wife is a great cook and she does not do nasty bodybuilding foods.
- I drink alcohol occasionally.
- I don't pay any attention to meal timing or frequency, macro timing, etc.
- I don't count any calories or macros, I just go by strength and daily weighing.
10 years ago, injuries prevented me from gaining more mass. So this is basically the 10 year aniversary of my experiment but hopefully with 15lbs more muscle mass.
And sorry no before pics, but I looked like ****, this much I can tell you.

fuuuu, haven't posted in a thread like this for a looooong time. I used to be pretty aesthetic but stopped lifting for a year and shot up to 205 @ 25% body fat lol. Started lifting again back in September, started tracking calories in mid October or something like that. Anyway, haven't been weighing myself frequently just because I found that I get complacent when I see my weight going down.
Stepped on scale this morning and was mind blown. Back down to 175.5! Feelsgoodmane. Still need to lose 10-15 more pounds before I'm on the verge of looking passable aesthetics wise but progress is progress.
Finally started to see vascularity in arms/shoulders when at the gym. Muscle separation coming through a bit too. Only thing that sucks is my abs are weak as fuk and don't become visible until sub 10%.
Oh well. My back is starting to look joocy though and to me that's more important for a solid looking physique.
