I do get what you are saying, and I suspect that she is going to play a key role, but not a complete role (I'm sure it's going to be a group effort).

It makes sense that a newbie would play a part, because we saw Thanos walk through the current Avengers (I couldn't believe that, still love that scene). It makes sense that a modified team and new strategy would work.

So IMO it would be understandable that they use people like Captain Marvel, Antman, and a new Ironman suit to help bring down Thanos.

You shouldnt worry about it. Directors Endgame are already on top of that

Is Captain Marvel too powerful?

The Russo Brothers have planned for that

That’s what kind of fires us up, I think, on a storytelling level, to be honest with you. Because when you do have powerful characters, you have to work that much harder to find their vulnerabilities and complexities…and keep the stakes high! Because that’s where those characters are vulnerable. And actually, that makes for great drama, and you run in that direction. As storytellers, that’s been one of the most fun things we’ve had working with these characters is figuring out ways into them where they are vulnerable and they aren’t all powerful.

They didn't even show anything about her at all. It was the most generic back story ever. Nothing memorable about this movie. I don't even remember the name of the bad guy except that he was a generic white bad man nationalist who wanted to destroy the poor wittle refugees. Fuk this movie.

That refugee chit was honestly the last straw. They put that in PURELY for political reasons.
LOL strong hate. the white man wasn't even in charge he was just a pawn. Wasnt he the only white dude in the squad? Come on dude.

Killmonger was the bad guy in Black panther. Stop being a hater. I hate SJW there was barely any in this film. You're grasping for straws.

I'm not sure if you're trolling, or you've gone off the deep end. (I sincerely hope you haven't been going on 4chan, and letting in poison your mind with 'everyone in the world hates white men' propaganda.)

Kilmonger - Black.

Thanos - An Alien.

Captain Marvel - White man and White woman (supreme intelligence, who is literally the leader of the Kree).

2 of the biggest Marvel movies, and the most recent one, none of them have 'the white man' specifically as the enemy.

Are you going to complain about the amount of white male heroes in the Avengers? Would you like to see more diversity there?

Star Wars — and the original Star Wars more than the new iteration — is far worse for the whole “evil white guy” thing. The Galactic Empire was legit chock full of bald, evil white males battling against a diverse and inclusive Rebellion.

Even now, Game of Thrones speaks more to many current issues than Captain Marvel does. There’s a literal fukn wall in GOT with an invading force on the other side. The main baddies are called “White Walkers”

Sorry, I missed this question.

I give it 4 Stars. (For what it is, a Marvel Origin story.)

I liked that she was hotheaded. Both her and Tony are alike some other person said.

Having said that, i dont think it was any worse than Black Panther. Black Panther cleaning up the Oscars is some bullchit sjw crap.

They are both entertaining action flicks with limited story. They both met my expectations and i enjoyed them for WHAT they are.

Thing is, marvel movies are just capped because of what they are. Just sort of dumb super hero movies.

As a hero Cpt. Marvel is definitely overpowered. That was the main part that didn't work but I'm sure it will balance out randomly when she fights thanos

Wish I could rep you all.

Anyone who rates it 3 stars (average) or above (or praised the cat), I consider part of the misc #TeamCaptainMarvel

We're reading for Endgame.
