Finally the cold has passed! Nose is still a bit runny, minor, happy to be feeling strong again!

Here’s what I did when I was sick: upped calories to maintenance, did additional cardio and an hour of cardio on my rest day. I think this helped me get better quicker. My approach has zero scienetific reasoning behind it, I just did what felt right for me.

Time to crush shoulders!

So I am running into the last month of my cut and about time to post some pics.

Took these this morning and managed to bench 130kg at a bw of 65kg, so happy my strength is still holding up.

Did take some nice ones with some striations but they came full potato.

I am 5'7 but I don't want nt really carry much mass in my legs despite training them hard twice a week. I probably expect to dip into the 130lbs before the end of the cut. So many people do not realise how small you have to get to get ripped.

Listen to this guy. And thanks for not adding 20lbs of internet weight, you easily could.

As I regularly say;
We are fatter than we think and we have less muscle than we would like.

Many times I've said that when guys cut to get shredded they shoudn't get a set weight in their mind as to when they will acquire The Shredz.

They reach their preconceived weight and The Shredz have not appeared.
They get bummed and many times quit because they think they look as if they lift or they are looking small.

To everyone else they will look bigger because the muscle definition is showing as it didn't when it was covered in layers of fluff.

This guy says it well;
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

How do you guys deal with strength loss?
Im reaching slowly into single digits now and I notice the decrease in weights. Wondering if it has to do just with muscle loss or with the decrease in energy,water and general fatmass. I guess all factors combined?
Natty bodybuilding hits me hard right now.

Slow down cutting, maybe increase protein, try to sleep more, stay as intense as possible in the gym. IMO strength should not decrease significantly on a cut.

Same as above, strength should not decrease a massive amount. At the moment my cut is slow and losing less than 0.5lb a week. When you get into single digits its important its slow otherwise it bombs out.

I also take creatine when bulking or cutting, its going to help you move that weight still.

Hey guys I'm getting in on this when I get off I'll take some pictures. I meant to take some before pics at 196 on Monday. I weighed in yesterday at 192 so I think I need to not be doing cardio every day or increase my cals. I'm currently doing low carb/high carb in 90 degree 100% humidity so I feel like I'm dropping way too fast. I know I have more fat than I'd like but that's a bit drastic. Been lifting normally but added abs after cardio every night, abs are already feeling stronger and more defined so I'm happy with that so far.

Until you see them..

Seriously, don't get caught up in a time frame or set weight to see your abs.

It's different for everyone.

Me on the left and my brah on the right..

Cut going super good so far, but I’m concerned that it’s going maybe TOO easy? I know my little “weight range” for shreddom and it’s only been 2 weeks and I’m already approaching levels of leanness that I wouldn’t have had till maybe 10 lbs lighter... lost a lot of fat too during this short time period (8 lbs) srs

wow, did I actually make gains during my bulk?

I had the same on this cut. I got just as lean but at a higher bodyweight than last year. That's good though right, means we bulked probably and actually put some mass on.
