Im not anti interracial dating because if someone thinks a different race is better than so be it. but I stand that it means you are shifting your identity. Instead of being a distinct idea, you become a middle ground which will eventually be taken over by someone more spiritually distinct. There are pros and cons but I think the general idea is that if something is not broke, dont try doing something else.

I don't know what your view on interethnic marriages is, so I'm not necessarily directing that last sentence at you.

My point is that racial identity is largely constructed and does not have any real substantive biological roots. Certain races are literally created arbitrarily. Take Hispanic--the origins of this group are Spanish, yet they are not considered European because of settlement patterns. There was a point in time when the Irish were not considered white by the British. There is no evidence that the genes responsible for pigmentation are correlated with any other behavioral trait.

Also, I have not seen a single study that corroborates what you said about racially mixed kids, in terms of the higher probability of contracting certain disorders.
