If somebody is offended by something not meant to be offensive, then they are the ones with the problem.

Intent has to matter. Either intent matters, or free speech doesn't matter and isn't protected.

Intent implies an active attack...an intentional offense. Someone spewing hate speech and claiming "free speech" is full of crap.

But this recent idea that everyone has some right to never be offended? Complete BS. Because if I must conform in my speech to avoid offending all parties then you are infringing on my freedom of expression.
