Nah, I’m the kind of male who doesn’t think about beta/alpha or other internet nonsense as I had men in real life to show me the way. I follow their example and do the best I can to take care of those I care about.

The women I hang out with are via my wife and my friend’s wives/girlfriends, as well as through my career. I’d hope any self respecting women would laugh at the idea of NEEDING a man, but people will surprise you.

This is very true. It would suck to "need" a man in order to survive. I don't need a man, but I very much want one. Two different things.

Lots of cringe in last 2 pages.

As for how women treat their man and such... people can only treat you how you let them. Every woman in have ever been with has been eager to serve me. I may be demanding, but I try and make sure I am also very appreciative and that they know it.

Takes all kinds. Some guys seem to get mad about it. See:wasp in main misc. Don't feel like trying to dig up the comment though; something about women wanting to cook and clean for him and he doesn't need/want that. And some just ignore it/take it for granted...no appreciation or reciprocity.

Yeah need and want are two different things but honestly alot of these people just talk about how they don't need a man like it's some big achievement. Like good for you? No one cares.

I just think women should know their roles like how men should know their roles. We need each other, femininity and masculinity are ying and yang, the roles should not be reverse and alot of these women are trying to do that.

Eh, I steer clear of telling anyone that they should “know their roles”. If a women has the goods to be the alpha dog, then she should go get it.

I agree, as long as we recognize that individuals are free to tangent off the path of typical roles if they wish since there are outliers within each sex (in a meritocratic way, not how we're currently pushing 50/50 etc.)

Just saw this post but that game was wild, when will it be mine turn for 2nd round playoffs again (heatbrah). That said I always see sloots at games so I'm not surprised. Just crazy she made out at a game her husband probably paid for lmao

IIRC you used to be FA but I'm always seeing you post about a new girl every week ITT. When did this all happen?
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Lol it was a great game. Just started putting myself out there more. I make it a point to go out and do something. Whether it be a sporting event, movie, the mall, whatever. Even if I don't meet women it will still get me out of my shell. Just stepping out is very beneficial for my mental state. The feeling of being around other people is much better than being alone and isolated.

Well in marriage you both do things for each other, it's not one sided. I take care of the house and work and if I get something, I will always think of my husband also.

However, I am not nurturing and I would be a horrible mother. I'm just too absentminded and in my own world. Legzz and Kim are no doubt great mothers. I'm not like that.

However, maybe if I had kids, I would just naturally always think what others need. Or maybe not.

Some people are natural carers and nurturers. They derive satisfaction from helping others. Women tend to fit this profile more than men; hence the ratio of nurses etc.

You might not be that type of person. I laughed when Silence claimed to be.

I do all the housework, though. My husband can't do it because he's been married his whole life and he just always had a wife doing it. Our division of labor is traditional and I consider him the leader of our family, even though it's just us. Men are not like women and they do other stuff that I don't know how to do.

Lmao they can be, but only a few are single. One is married and the others have a bf. It’s actually pretty common for a lot of taken women to view it as they did. Even had a 50yo woman tell me to make a man work the hardest in the relationship. Lol’d a bit because I’m sure she was divorced.

If you’re both content with the roles, then that’s all that matters. In general, I’d be concerned that a non-nurturing type of woman performing those roles might build up resentment or something.

I’d prefer if she truly derived satisfaction from it, and the same for myself. It’s gonna be much healthier than just a logically agreed upon set of roles.

Ye, they just don’t want to do any work, but expect to be romanced or have a guy treat them like a “princess” (as a few of them stated)

In general, people want specially treatment, but won’t give the same respect.

Well, this girl doesn't love me. And idk why you're zoning in on the specific actions - I just gave two examples to try portray the general vibe I got from her.

Honestly, it's very difficult to articulate. You can just sense this natural sort of kindness and femininity. Maybe 'dutiful' and 'conscientious' are better adjectives.

I understand what you are getting at, but I still don't think it is difficult to find women in America with those traits.

Yeah, probably not, but I never did online dating as I know looks aren't my strength, and I met my now wife right before Tinder exploded so never dealt with it.

I do know of a handful of quality women that are on Tinder and such, but they mostly just use it as a form of entertainment and are ridiculously selective of the men they meet IRL from it.
