American women always seems friendly to me though?

I don't know how it's such a problem.

Also Ex us back, I confessed everything, she's still about. I don't even get it. I told the raw unabridged truth and she just wants to try harder. What is this?

What does friendly have to do with anything? Again it shows how little people understand what we’re talking about when we say affection from women. My mechanic is nice to me and probably cleans his house, it doesn’t mean I’m going to marry the dude. It’s also not a complete necessity in dating, I dont need a therapist or masseuse for a girlfriend, but pretending acting like that is the norm in western dating is a laugh.

I'm not filtering out anyone's opinion or disagreeing that low quality women exist and that they attract them. Frankly, the only one wholesale dismissing opinions is you by saying mine doesn't count because I am old and married.

As to my marriage, it seems pertinent that in a forum dedicated to Relationship Help, that the opinion of someone who is in a successful relationship with a women most on here apparently believe is slightly more common than a Unicorn, would be of some value.

How are you not dismissing other people's opinions when you claim that because you got a wife before Tinder was popular that there are all of these high quality chicks around? Your opinion doesn't count because you are old and married, you are correct. The people who are actually experiencing what is being discussed in this thread are being told what they are doing wrong by someone who is 10 years out of date. I may as well get investment advice from my grandma. Not only that, but you claim that we are always the problem, that we are pursuing low quality women. Yet most of the women I date are in the medical field, primarily nurses/pharmacists/physical therapists. Nurses have been voted the most trustworthy people for like two decades in a row now, yet I still keep finding them to be bad partners in the end. You also say you haven't dated since before Tinder is a thing. I will agree that dating around that time was pretty solid, but a lot has changed in 10 years even if you refuse to believe it. Look at statistics of women cheating, the amount of men single or not having sex compared to a decade ago, etc. You would find yourself COMPLETELY ****ed if you unfortunately ended up divorced for some reason. Look at any of countless stories of men coming back onto the dating market after 5-10 years and you will see an obvious trend. I'm sure you have read plenty of them but chosen to ignore them.

Your opinion would be useful if the discussion was about maintaining relationships, proposing, a happy marriage, etc. When it comes to telling single people what they're doing wrong when it comes to dating, it's actually baffling you think anything you say is relevant. It's like those stories of parents telling their kids they shouldn't be struggling because they were able to put themselves through college and support a family with a milkman job in the 70s.

In that case yeah I don’t think all women are into that role, and it’s culturally probably more common with Asian women. Lucy and Autumnal and RunSwim all mention Asian women in that context.

And I do think that is less common in Western culture, but there definitely are still women here also who enjoy that subservient/dutiful/homemaker role. Like I mentioned my sister in law is one of them. And I’m guessing Lucy’s mom is like that too which is why he is seeking that same type of women in dating.
You may be right that we're going deeper than he originally made it seem. I am sure that type of women exists, but they sure as hell aren't single in numbers. Some woman earlier even mentioned that she did these nice things for someone and all of her friends berated her about being a house slave. I certainly wouldn't treat the vast majority of woman for a traditional role, and in that sense I see no point to marriage. To act like these women are out there in droves is disingenuous, even though every woman online would make it seem like she's the perfect catch but no guy apparently wants a unicorn. Like I said, I've dated at least a hundred women through various stages of relationships and in the end, anyone pretending to meet those qualities turned out to be a chameleon. I dated a cloyingly sweet nurse for 2.5 years who would try all these affectionate things but it was her putting on an act out of clinginess. Girl really couldn't cook an egg without me guiding her through it.

I'm cynical when people act like they've caught themselves a perfect girl---give it some time, either they will prove to be putting up a front or you have such rose-tinted glasses she could walk all over you and you'd think it was a massage. Good for ole jimbong if he did find himself a unicorn but they aren't out there in herds. Trust me, there are millions of us men hunting for them and ****ing sheep on the side every once in a while (no bestiality). You guys keep insisting they're everywhere, people like pondus insist they find them, yet every time I look at this thread it's the same 5 people for years, doing the same thing over and over again and confused they keep getting the same result.

You people talking about the South—-I lived in South Carolina for ten years, the niceness down there is not the same as being affectionate or “subservient”, and those nice people are often hell behind closed doors. Honestly can barely think of any relationships of anyone I knew down there that weren’t toxic beneath the surface. Almost all of us were educated, attractive, relatively sane, and with reasonable standards. You guys again think affection/romance is the same as acting nice or cleaning your own dishes. I’m also a nurse and the majority of my past relationships are nurses or the like—-supposedly the most compassionate and trusted types of people, as well as being considered pretty high quality.

Yet you are still here desperately trying to date after countless years of talking about it. The superficial affection you’re receiving in the honeymoon phase clearly hasn’t ever ended up being what you want it to be. No offense but I get the feeling a lot of these women see you as a lost puppy and try to give you what you want, but in the end they can’t keep it up
Do we live in a less kind and more shallow time than previous generations? Yeah, probably... however as a man, you are completely capable of creating your own culture around you. If you're not finding any compassionate women, you are either creating the wrong culture or not worth being passionate about.

Nurses are a top 5 slooty profession btw.

Correct. I re-articulated the behavior to dutiful, motherly and conscientious.

So people need to argue that, not the strawman that 'women do nice things for me'.

The western women I've dated can do nice actions, but their mindset didn't match that of the last girl. There was a reason I was pleasantly taken aback by her behavior, and had that rush of feeling fulfilled and complemented. It's a huge oversimplification to say 'uhhh why are you picking low quality western women'.

100% Pondus all these women you've been with do not match the behavior of this E Asian girl. I know what you're talking about, but have you even dated an E Asian that wasn't westernized?

Disagreeing is not Dismissing. And I can be old and married and still interact with and see quality chicks in their (late) 20s around me. Can't comment on long term date-ability, but most of the traits people complain about on here can be discerned within an hour of meeting them.

And yeah, I blame people for their problems, just the way I am wired. Identify barriers in the way of success and execute a plan to overcome them. If I blamed everyone but myself and stopped there, I wouldn't be successful.

TONS of women are into that role.

Problem is say 50% of women are down to play that role. Only maybe 30% of them are deemed attractive enough by miscers. Leaving 15% of the female population to be good enough for these guys. They want top 15%ers when they aren't that themselves.

You're the same way just gender reversed.

That is such a load of bull****. You cannot discern the behavior I described by simply interacting with these women on a superficial basis.

I have a feeling you're naive, easily fooled and manipulated by women. You actually have zero insight because you aren't dating them seriously.

Are these the same quality women that are attention seeking on a hookup app?

Yes, they are certainly sloots, but I'm pretty sure all professions are sloots. The nurses do tend to be more insane than others though I think, probably because of job stress where they have a very clear responsibility that is theirs alone with their assigned patient. Yet I have still never seen any of them admit to a mistake or take responsibility for something, even if it is completely their fault. When did I say I haven't met compassionate women?

You literally are commenting on their dateability. And jimbong, I'm sure you're not stupid enough to take someone's professional facade the first time you meet them at work to be how they really are? Most people realize they are supposed to display positive behaviors at work, that doesn't mean that's who they are.

You're one of the few people I respect on here but I'm quite certain you're high test crew and just don't care. You seem to acknowledge how ridiculous women are and just fck with them regardless, which is fine, but don't pretend just because you don't care that they don't behave like chit. Thinking I'm not top 15% crew is a chuckle m8.

And I agree with you as to Pondus. All his posts are humble bragging about the high quality of the women he dates. Yet he has been single for years and unable to find a lasting relationship. So obviously those women are not that high quality otherwise he wouldn’t keep bouncing around to new ones.
No, I'm not looking for any woman at this point because I have never met one that is what I want deep down. I just sleep around and don't delude myself that I'm waiting for the one. Like I said, it took me 100+ dates to come to the realization that no, I'm not the problem, they're actually just all the same deep down. Like everyone else on here, I kept trucking along time after time, ghost after ghost, waiting for someone that would prove themself, and in the end always a disappointment. So I can't really hate on people that are still in that dating loop of the hopeless romantic, but you gotta snap out of it eventually. A couple years ago I came to the realization that if you don't act judgmental women will tell you the truth, even in dating. The modern woman will tell you exactly how bad she is if you act like it doesn't phase you. A lot of guys project an image of them being some virginal bride onto them and they act the role for a while but it's not them. Eventually many of the guys who end up falling for them realized they married someone different than they thought, or that woman becomes so unhappy pretending to be the perfect housewife she explodes. I've dated Asian women, they are also a particular sort of crazy, especially when it comes to family expectations versus the reality of their lives.

Don't let them try to feed you crazy pills brah, especially the same people I have seen in these threads for years and years, having the same problems over and over. I didn't realize the lack of what you were saying until I went to Asia.

Are these the same quality women that are attention seeking on a hookup app?
Discern the exact behavior you are attempting to describe, I don't know. Discern whether someone is relatively a decent person, which means they are less likely to do the bad things MISC worries about, absolutely.

And I don't consider single girls enjoying attention from dudes to be a bad thing. 'Tis a strange irony that a forum populated with dudes working hard to develop attention getting bodies fret so much about others enjoying attention for their good looks.

No, I'm not looking for any woman at this point because I have never met one that is what I want deep down.

I wasnt referencing anybody specifically. Just a generalization about miscers.

I guess in all I agree the selection of quality wife material is pretty low. Best way to be unaffected by it is be an elite man. It's simply supply and demand. I'm a sexual capitalist. This idea that every man deserves a good woman is sexual socialism. Some **** religion tried to create. I cant get with that.

I have no disillusionments about that. I know already I couldn't find anyone. I don't even know anyone my age who did. I didn't even find boyfriends when I was young. I was like female otaku. So nope.

I don't know why I bothered. You guys keep on doing the same thing you've done for the past 261 pages and expect a different result if that's what makes you happy. I banged my wall against the seduction/romance/dating/whatever lifestyle for 9 years wall until I finally began to learn my lesson so I'm no better than any of you. You all at least built a bit of a community between yourselves here to share your delusions. Half of you are eagerly seeking your next divorce so it's possible you'll never learn your lesson.

I agree. The fact dudes in this thread are even getting dates is a sign they're better than a lot of men nowadays in the first place. I'm not saying that people need to stop dating, but they should at least be realistic about what they're getting into. It's almost pure sex at this point, the idea of the traditional romantic relationship we've been spoonfed since birth is largely nonsense.

long-term dateability as in everyone has their own personal tastes. There are women I would consider high quality that'd I know would never work out as a long term relationship for me, but they are still good people. And I'd have to track back a ways, but if I implied the women I talk about are from mostly/only professional situations then that is my mistake because its not what I was meaning to imply.

What do you mean? The majority of the women I date Have good careers, cook, clean, are very compassionate, and are mothers.

Desperately? Um, no. Putting myself out there yes. If I were desperate I would have settled for one of the many, many women I dated over the past 3 years. I say I date high quality women, because I do. What I end up finding, for the most part, are personality conflicts that I don't want to deal with. Nothing against them, doesn't make them a bad person or low quality, just not the right match for me. I guess what I was getting at is, that none of the women I date have ever treated me poorly. Since I won't date a woman that doesn't provide equal effort, those type of women get weeded out quickly because we just end up ghosting each other. Or maybe they are just ghosting me, but I don't care, because that type of woman isn't worth my time.

You have to remember that I am a full time father. I'm not going to put my kids through what I already put them through. If I don't see a future with a woman I call it off. Period. I will never compromise. Either its perfect, or its nothing. I'd rather be alone. If I'm still single after my kids are gown up, I probably won't be so picky.

I don't know why you are getting hard on me. I'm doing the right thing.

And I am 100% a hopeless romantic. I still believe in it and I put a lot of thought and effort into my dates and relationships. If a woman doesn't appreciate it or it turns her off, again, not the one for me.

You have absolutely no idea who anyone is except maybe yourself and to an extent your wife. Even then you would probably surprise yourself when put into some situations. If you don't understand that you are probably a very easily manipulated person (and don't bother to deny it---if you are, you would never know you are). Most people I encounter in my life have no idea who I am or what I believe. I smile, do my job, offer polite conversation, etc. They would never guess the night before I was doing gay for pay to fund my bodybuilding career (no kai greene).

You have 12,000 posts on this forum and I would hazard the majority are about relationships. Tell yourself whatever you want but most people don't have journals about their dating lives, post guides on getting women to chase you, and post regularly on relationship help chatrooms. Like I said, I was also desperate and thought I wasn't because I was dating so many women. None of them were mean to be either, but a good relationship is not about not being treated poorly. Your desperation is obvious from how many times you have tried and tried, and none of them ever work out, yet you just keep on spending your time and money on it. You yourself say you're a full time father.

I am being a bit overly harsh on you for sure. You're a hopeless romantic and I was as well (I probably still am and suppress it, it's probably why I'm acting so bitter in these posts).

I also never expected to have any problems with dating after divorce. Because I never had any problems with dating before marriage, so I just naturally assumed I’d be fine dating after.

Even waited 4 years after my separation to start dating, because I wasn’t ready emotionally and needed time alone to work through the divorce in all aspects. But that whole time I just assumed in the back of my mind that I’d be able to find a new relationship relatively quickly once I was ready to start looking.

Reality was very different of course. So you simply can’t assume your position in the dating market and your theoretical options until you’re actually there in the trenches.
Completely fair point, and I am naturally over confident so could happen. I think I'd be most concerned just about the general lack of size of the dating pool itself as well as time. I wouldn't have much time to date with kid(s) and a demanding job.

I was never spoon fed the bs so I have a lot less resentment about it.

However I still believe men and women can have fulfilling relationships. In tradition or nom traditionally gender roles.
