Game of thrones used to explain the impossible. Now it avoids the question.

So i watched season 7 episode 3 again
There are some callbacks from last episode from it.
1. Tyrion says stark men dont fare well south. Jon snow says he is no stark.
2. Mellisandre says she has to return to die in westeros and said varys will die too(so im sure this will happen next episode in season 8)
I just hate that this entire episode and season led up to the battle with the NK and it was mishandled so badly with awful writing. They shouldve got peter jackson to direct that one episode at least.

Ok.
The fukers even changed the whole location of KL, not to mention the mountains and forests and grass.

As for the map in the opening roll, its just an opening roll, they made the map look better.

No dip in viewership. Maybe we're the idiots who care too much and should just enjoy the show at this point.
"UPDATE, 12:54 PM: There were no viewership records broken by the latest episode of Game of Thrones this weekend, but the near end of the battle for the Iron Throne was still very strong.
With HBOGo and HBO Now data plus additional linear airs added, the May 5 “The Last of the Starks” snagged 17.2 million viewers.
Put in the bluntest terms possible, that’s a dip of 3.8% from the all-time series high of the epic battle of April 28’s “The Long Night, which was the longest GoT ever at 82-minutes. Slipping a scant 1.1% from the Season 8 opener of April 14, the fourth episode of the eighth and final season of GoT is actually the third most watched episode of the David Benioff and D.B. Weiss EP’d blockbuster ever."
