Mass effecr 3 had a better ending than got. Theyre similar as well because thats what happens when you write yourself into a corner. Cersei is the illusive man and night king is harbinger. Jon is shepard, he united everyone.

Translation: Euron kind of forgot about the parlay he was attending.
Apparently, Tyrion wanted Cersei to“realize that she wasn’t a monster at all, that she was really, truly a mother.”
Translation: Tyrion kind of forgot literally everything before the episode about his bitch of a sister.
“That was an intense scene,” Nutter continued. “I think any type of Euron intrusion there would’ve weakened the intent of what we were trying to tell.”
Translation: We kind of forgot the man who has expressed a vested interest in impregnating Cersei to produce an heir was in the scene.
Why didn’t we see Sansa and Arya react to the news of Jon’s real identity?

“We knew what Jon and/or Bran was going to say. What was going to come out of their mouth? Aegon Targaryen,” explained Nutter. “So it’s kind of wasted time.”
Translation: We kind of forgot that Sansa and Arya's reactions were the important part of the reveal.
Why did Jaime go back to Cersei?

“I think [it’s] this magnet. He’s always running back to Cersei ... and he can’t help himself. Too powerful for him to try to control,” said Nutter, explaining how Jaime feels about his sister. “And he needs to get back to her. I think it’s the kind of thing where he’s realizing who he is and what he’s made of.”
Translation: We kind of forgot Jaime had an entire arc spanning seven past seasons developing his character.
Can Sansa really not keep a secret?

You've been watching this for ten years? When all the paragons of virtue met pointless deaths at the hands of wicked people, you didn't take a second to think about that and what GRRM was trying to say with that? Its not 'Night King 2: Electric boogaloo', its a story about humans and conflict, internal and external.
That was definitely GRRM's point of the books and that was definitely how the first 5-ish seasons of the show went, but then when GRRM left and D&D took over the writing, it went from a human conflict story with fantastic dialogue to a zombie apocalypse show with shyt one-liners about eunuchs and dwarfs.

if you think about it, Gendry has the best resume on the show of the remaining characters. He has bagged both Melissandre and Arya.

ok Arya isnt the best looking chick but shes a Stark and total badass who will be remembered as the one who killed the NK for thousands of years

1) Melissandre didn't actually do anything with him except give him blue balls.

2) Then he got seduced by one of the ugliest girls in Westeros and then got friend zoned by her after he professed his love for her after one night of banging.

He may be a cool fighter but he's a one hell of a cuck.

That's not quite accurate. People forget from the books dragons never stop aging and grow for a lot more time than the ~8 years Dany's had hers. Aegon Targaryen 1 rode a dragon that lived to be 200 years old and from my reading of the books it was growing for like half it's life or so. While the show makes the dragons look grown, in concept they're nowhere close to fully matured.
